Trying a HEMA and TPO free gel polish on just one finger to test if I have an allergic reaction. For the price I paid for these polishes, I hope I don’t. Fingers crossed!🤞🏻

@MikeNaiders There is so many good ones! Could also depend on the illustrator, you might find an illustrator that you like their art style more than others 👏🏻 I also like my gloom a lot and the meowth that I have in my binder 🤗

Welp, had to remove my nails. I developed an allergy to gel polish thanks to the brand Beetles. Researched and people had it happen to them with the same brand. So, PSA: DO NOT BUY BEETLES GEL POLISH.

@mind0fmegs All my fingers are currently blistered and bandaged! 😭 I’ve been doing research into some brands like “Light elegance” that are HEMA and TPO free. As well as doing my own press ons 🥲

@MareReee I also developed an allergy to Beetles. Thankfully other gels don’t bother me

@MikeNaiders Just can’t use gel polish with HEMA in it anymore. Apparently once you develop the allergy, it’s irreversible 🙃 Super annoying cause I’ve spent so much money on gel polishes lol

@cr1ms0nblade Yeah they took my forever to do too but my skin started blistering. Apparently it’s from HEMA in the gel polish and the beetles brand has a lot of HEMA in it and has given multiple people bad allergic reactions.
