Saudi Arabia has made a major announcement that it will not engage in any war against Iran. Saudi officials have officially informed the United States that they will not allow the use of their territory or airspace to launch attacks against Iran. This is a major turning point for the Middle East.

US wants another meeting with Iranian officials. If so it will likely happen at the end of this week. Sticking point is the issue of enriched uranium. The thing that was agreed upon in the JCPOA which Trump walked away from in Trump 1.0 days and which we said at the time was an idiotic decision and here we are.

This is Trump's Art of the Deal in action. Because electricity is the backbone of modern society. Faced with hunger and survival, people will overcome fear and rise up. Washington isn’t rushing into another Middle East war. It’s testing whether effective diplomacy can deliver results faster and cheaper. If talks fail, the threat remains credible. If they succeed, Trump walks away with a strategic win with minimal cost.

Yes. I agree with you that Russians would have to operate the weapons just like NATO is doing in Ukraine. Since the US and NATO are already on the battlefield against Russia in Ukraine, the threshold has already been crossed and Russia can claim that it’s just tit-for-tat. In fact Russia may be itching to inflict pain on the US for what they did in assisting in this way in Ukraine. Putin has warned the US about it numerous times and clearly stated that the US and NATO are in fact at war with Russia. The difference between now and the Cuban Missile Crisis is that now there are actually attacks on Russian territory. Kursk, oil and gas infrastructure and more. These are very serious incursions into Russia not seen since the Russian Civil War when Western nations invaded the Soviet Union. It is actually in Russia’s interest to inflict reprisals upon the US and Venezuela is the perfect place. Putin is not impulsive like Krushchev. Everything is extremely well thought out so this could go either way. No direct Russian involvement this time like you are saying or retribution so as to dissuade the US from continuing its direct involvement in Ukraine and in future situations. Putin has warned the US and NATO about this for years and Putin never issues idle threats. He gives tons of warnings but always follows through at the right time when the West fails to back off.

I have some great doubts about this. Only Russia could launch them, even if activated from Venezuela. Russia would press the button, provide the intelligence, and define the objective. That means direct Russian confrontation with the U.S.—that means a revival of the Cuban Missile Crisis
