@kiriwoamizaki I think it's because a lot of people thought Iruma had grown past doing that for someone he doesn't/barely knows. I think the issue here was we really didn't see enough of Shiida for us to understand why Iruma would do that for her, for many of us she's a pretty foreign person

saw someone say that it was weird for Iruma to save shiida and risk his own life are we kidding?? isn't the entire point of iruma's character is that he'll do anything to help his friends even if it hurts him? yeah shiida is a bad person but he doesn't care. he's iruma

@kiriwoamizaki Either way Iruma looses his friends and family/can no longer reach them right? so Baal is worse because he'll likely experiment on Iruma + "so close yet so far" vibes. compared to narnia in which he could *in theory* move on even if it'll never be the same

the difference between Baal and Narnia's plans for Iruma has me thinking. really, is it worse for Iruma to stay in the demon world and be experimented on in Baal's lab... or be forcefully deported and leave everything behind altogether?

The worst part on this chapter is that Iruma knows that he is to be exposed. He chose to save Shiida. Even risking that he might lose everyone else all together and get a lot of people in trouble especially his allies. Yet at that moment he didn't hesitate to make sacrifice.
