@katrinas57 Coming to St. Paul moved me closer to my siblings in MO and I love it. Also, she gave David a roll of masking tape to play with. 😆

@Marfa_Scharffa Yep! So happy she lives closer to me!\ than she did before moving to St Paul's.

During our time outside before lunch, David got to see and play with all of the teachers. This is such a wonderful place. ❤️

One of the greatest joys this week has been hearing Lukas boldly recite 1 Corinthians 11:26, his memory work Bible verse.

@WmWeedon I almost had to drag David inside to have lunch. Better planning and we would’ve eaten outside.

Feels downright eastery after last nights storms.

Nostalgic morning when I took the dogs out- that cool, yet still going to warm up later, after thunderstorms morning in the Midwest.

As I walked past the Capitol this morning, I couldn’t help but notice the ironic presence of a garbage truck as two members resign in disgrace and shame.

Wouldn’t it just be easier if I just go ahead and send my tax payment to Somalia? You know, cut out the middle man?

Deck and patio are almost completely done. Still waiting for gate to block off the pool entrance. Composite, so WE should never have to replace this deck again. Pool opening on Friday.

What you don’t get to hear is the “Ah-weh-wu-wah” that goes along with this picture.

The best mornings start with a workout. I’m so glad I chose to get mine in early this morning.

Just as I expected, the guy came to mow the church property this morning. I ran out to quickly go and tear down Luke’s “campsite.” I had to laugh. I’m sure these guys have seen everything.

@WmWeedon I saw that sunrise this morning. I was chasing a rambunctious puppy around the yard.

And I know this won’t be the last. Lukas expressed his artistic side many times. Always with green crayon. On white walls.

Today I am thankful for magic erasers. As much as I love David expressing his artistic side, the dark blue line of crayon ALL. THE. WAY. down the hallway wasn’t exactly what I was wanting.
