He escaped during evacuation of one of the subcamps.
Today he turns 100!

5 September 1938 | A Polish Jewish boy, Jchiel Bela Tiszman, was born in Płońsk.
In 1942 he was deported from the ghetto in Płońsk to #Auschwitz. He was murdered in a gas chamber.
3 September 1897 | A German Jewish woman, Hedwig Juliusburger, was born in Allenstein (Olsztyn).
On 26 February 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz from Berlin with her husband Alfred and son Klaus. They did not survive. The other son Gert perished in Auschwitz on 12 June 1944.

In January 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz together with her parents Schulim and Anna. On 6 February she and her mother were murdered in a gas chamber. The father survived.
