Chris Hipkins has said that Labour is willing to means test superannuation that would affect hundreds of thousands of kiwi seniors - just like they did in the 1980s. ‘Means testing’ is another way of saying the government will be able to refuse to give you your retirement super income if they decide you don’t deserve it. As the saying goes, when the going gets tough they always go after the young and the old first. Our Kiwi Super is not a benefit, it is a long standing Kiwi entitlement. Kiwis who are 65 or above have worked 30,40, sometimes 50 years paying taxes and building this country. We have an obligation as a government to look after our seniors in their retirement and protect their super. We demanded in our coalition agreement that super won’t be touched - this will never change while NZFirst has a say. NZFirst is the only party that will never allow the hard-fought Kiwi super to be hacked away from our seniors for any short term gain - the rest want to attack it and take it away.

There’s been a lot of misinformation about immigration under the new Free Trade Agreement with India. Much of what’s being said is spin rather than substance. Here’s the facts. This FTA does not open the floodgates on immigration. It allows around 1,700 temporary three‑year work visas per year - less than 3% of all work visas. And they can’t be renewed. Total numbers are capped so there can’t be more than 5,000 at any one time. The temporary work visa is targeted at skills New Zealand already needs - like doctors, nurses, teachers, ICT and engineers. These are roles that help keep hospitals staffed, classrooms open, and businesses productive. Claims about family migration are simply wrong. The FTA does not grant automatic rights for family members to enter, work or study in New Zealand. There is no back‑door pathway. The FTA is about lifting incomes for Kiwis, not importing labour from India. It means we can sell more of what we are good at to 1.4 billion people. It’s about bringing money into local communities, and helping Kiwis get ahead.

I had hoped the term 'misinformation' died with the Ardern regime. In 2022 Stuff's Andrea Vance wrote a hit piece on me funded by Ardern's PIJF bribe. I was slandered for rejecting NZ's embrace of Agenda 2030 and for questioning the "Safe and Effective" narrative. The Media Council ruled she was in breach of the principle of Fairness, Accuracy & Balance. The machine tries to protect itself. The agendas are real, and you now have a first hand look into the belly of the beast - the inner workings of a trade deal that is not a trade deal at all. At its heart is global-left agenda; the same foreign influence that has come to roost here in New Zealand - adversely affecting every aspect of our lives. To quietly weave an unlimited immigration pathway, climate obligations and co-governance into what should be an agreement about trade is, for me, a betrayal of the trust New Zealanders placed in their government. Change needs to happen; the complicit parties need to loose significantly in November's election or we will see more and more of the same foreign influence rotting and dividing our society, draining our economic potential and forfeiting our children's future.
