Whoa, this is an interesting prospect. Everyone is using LLMs to spam their resumes everywhere, so in response, everyone who reviews resumes needs to use LLMs to evaluate them. But LLMs are biased in favor of women and minorities. So, will we see a marked bias in hiring emerge?
arctotherium@arctotherium42

In realistic resume-study settings, previous-generation (Sonnet 4) LLMs consistently prefer black to white and female to male applicants. These preferences are invisible in model chains-of-thought, which are thus unfaithful (don't correspond to actual decision process).

WOW 🚨 In 1986 Los Angeles County was reporting at hospitals “as many as 80% of the babies delivered are born to mothers who are either illegal aliens or newly legalized aliens” Imagine this multiplying through today…. This is how we’ve lost California “A 1986 study by the Chief Administrative Office of Los Angeles County determined that services to illegal aliens were costing county taxpayers nearly $173 million per year. County hospitals and health delivery systems have been particularly hard. Yet at the Los Angeles County, university of Southern California Medical Center, as many as 80% of the babies delivered are born to mothers who are either illegal aliens or newly legalized aliens. County and federal taxpayers will pick up most of the tab”

The same “GOP” senators who voted to keep giving welfare to noncitizens are now opposing passage of the SAVE America Act via standing filibuster. DO YOU GET IT!?

As a mom of teenage boys, I know how hard parents work to keep their kids safe online and at school. A huge worry among parents is illegal vapes from China that are being marketed to our kids. President Trump has shown real leadership in confronting China and the illicit flow of drugs, and I’m urging his team to prioritize this issue in trade negotiations and stop these illegal shipments that are targeting and endangering our kids. Thanks for leading this effort, @RepMikeCarey! ICYMI - full letter below. ⬇️

@jim_desmond The next generation can’t afford what seniors are asking for. Salaries have not gone up that much.

Seniors are sitting in 4-bedroom homes their kids grew up in — not because they want to, but because selling means getting crushed by capital gains taxes. Eliminate that tax. Put money back in their pockets. Give them a reason to downsize. That opens up family-sized homes for the next generation — without building a single new unit. Then pair it with down payment assistance so young families can actually afford to buy. It's that simple: Help seniors move. Help families move in. Put money back in people's pockets instead of taking more out.

@HustleBitch_ This shouldn’t be happening. It’s so infuriating that this administration is still keeping it a boomer economy instead of helping out the future.

🚨 GEN Z WOMAN WITH THREE JOBS BREAKS DOWN ON CAMERA — “I DON’T EVEN WANT TO BE ALIVE ANYMORE… I STILL CAN’T AFFORD TO LIVE” A Gen Z woman filmed herself after finding a red eviction notice on her door and says she’s hit a breaking point. She says she has three different jobs, often pulling overnight shifts and putting in six days a week. No health insurance. No PTO. No benefits. Constant shifts because if she doesn’t show up… she makes nothing. And even putting in those hours, she says it’s still not enough. According to her, $1,918.80 is due by Monday or she could be evicted from her apartment. “I show up every day and I still can’t cover my necessities.” The video is now spreading online as people argue over what it says about the economy. Working more hours than ever… and still drowning. How does someone with THREE jobs still end up one bill away from being homeless?

Pigs are smarter than dogs. They solve puzzles, play video games with joysticks, and can outsmart 3-year-old children on some tests. Pigs are highly sentient, showing empathy by mirroring others' stress or joy, forming deep bonds of affection and love, and displaying loyalty through long-term memory and trust. Yet the pork lobby is sneaking the 'Save Our Bacon Act' into the farm bill to lock millions in cruel gestation crates for life.

The Save Our Bacon Act looks sterile. The language hides the true intent - to protect horrific factory farming practices by Chinese-owned pork producers. This is demonic stuff. Sponsored by Representative Ashley Hinson.

These are the Republican Senators that voted NO on Sen Rand Paul’s amendment to cut taxpayer funded refugee welfare. The Republicans don’t deserve your support and neither do the Democrats because they both are America Last.

Here are the senators who voted against Rand Paul’s amendment to cut refugee welfare… they gave all the usual double talk excuses. Meanwhile we have added another $2 TRILLION in debt since Trump took office.

What’s the deal with this plant? Wife grabbed 2 at Costco for $20 each & you’d have thought she hit the lotto. She told me a girl she knows buys them at Costco & sells them on FB Marketplace for 5X what she paid for them. It’s called a Ficus Fig Tree. What’s the story?

President Trump is fighting to bring America back from four years of Biden’s failing economy, but Democrats in Congress are getting in the way. We must balance the budget, cut regulations, and rein in reckless spending to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! 🇺🇸
