@NPolhuis I've seen many forms of break taking strategies. The unused break reward is not something I have seen yet and I'm very intrigued by this!

If you have a student who avoids academic tasks, try a tier 2 intervention called 'Class Pass'. Give the student a limited number of passes to take brief breaks, without interrupting instruction. To build academic stamina, the student is rewarded for unused passes.
