Hi guys, its me again.
Almost 50 days into this brutal war… and I’m still without a job or a single paycheck.
Every single day I wake up wondering how I’m going to keep going, how I’ll provide for my family while everything around us feels like it’s falling apart.
My heart is heavy, but I refuse to lose hope.
If anyone out there can offer a job opportunity, (I am a video editor) freelance work, or any kind of support during these impossible times please reach out.

The brutal truth is Victoria’s criminal justice system is a shambles. It’s failing victims and failing young offenders. Police know it and so do youth workers . The second-strike rule for bail is now in force in Victoria. It’s simple: if you commit an indictable offence on bail, there are no second chances - you lose the presumption of bail. Because community safety comes first. Our tough bail laws are already working - with bail refusals at record highs. And with Adult Time for Violent Crime now in force, the chance of jail is stronger and sentences are longer.

True-blue Aussies, IMO, just loved living in this country & GOT ON WITH IT instead of trying to find ways to become victims &/or expect a free ride, & they were tolerant of each others religious beliefs, & they came here from all over the world & all walks of life to help build this country & they assimilated, plus in the war they were loyal & brave & went off & died for this country without a 2nd thought, & they probably believed in just 2 biological sexes 🤐 …& the schools actually taught the 3 R’s & respect & kids were held accountable for their actions…

The government is subsidising non-citizens to buy homes in Australia even if they have property overseas. The First Home Owner scheme allows non-citizens to purchase homes in Australia with a 5% deposit, regardless of whether they own a home overseas. The Australian government acts as a guarantor for the remaining 15 per cent of the deposits, allowing the first homebuyer to avoid paying lenders mortgage insurance (LMI) Last week, Housing Australia announced that since eligibility for the 5% Deposit Scheme was expanded in mid-2023 to include permanent residents and joint applicants, “more than 48,000 permanent residents have been supported, along with over 2700 family and friend group applicants purchasing a home together - demonstrating the Scheme’s responsiveness to the needs of modern households” This is actually an incomprehensible disaster, I think we can pretty much say that Australia is one of the worst run Western developed economies
