Jess Phillips has finally signed a letter asking the national inquiry into the Pakistani Rape Gang to come to Birmingham. Because in 1990 Birmingham City Council commissioned research into the sexual exploitation of girls in its own care. It found twenty girls, by name, in the council's own files, and traced the link to taxi drivers already cautioned for pimping. The council ordered the ethnic dimension stripped out, buried the report and destroyed the copies. To make matters worse, In December 1995, councillors voted down the enquiry into that destruction. Phillips and her colleagues know exactly what their letter does not ask for. If they were serious, they would be demanding the inquiry reach back before 1996. I have reported Dan Hodges to the police for harassment of @Nigel_Farage Hodges has posted about Nigel Farage and Reform 52 times across approximately 43 posts and replies on X in just eight days. Many are direct quote-tweets and aggressive replies clearly targeting Farage personally. A significant number of these posts accuse Farage and Reform MP's of politicising the murder of Ann Widdecombe, and repeated attacks on Nigel Farage’s security procedures and finances with personal derogatory comments, and appear to incite others against him and the party. This sustained, highly targeted campaign goes far beyond the acceptable boundaries of legitimate journalism and constitutes obsessive online stalking, harassment and incitement.

She had a house she truly loved with stunning views. She made it nice and cosy to suit her own taste. She created a library room she had always wanted to enjoy in her retirement. She had a cat she loved. She had her views, principles, faith and she stuck to them. It was her right. And then came such a horrible, distressing , cruel end. No one deserves this. Ann Widdecombe's mother died at the age of 95. You just know Ann would have lived into her 90s too. What a shocking thing, to take someone's life from them.
