Moral of the story, avoid men.
Notice how even after Lara broke windows and messed up Mari’s room, Mari came to her rescue and saved her from drowning? A man would’ve never let her hear the end of it, if not just letting her die all together, but Mari saved and treated her warmly even as angry as she was. And we know the good for nothing Prince definitely wouldn’t have done anything. Women are awesome.
Lara doing all this stressing about finding her true love when Mari literally right in front of her already😭 I am so looking forward to their relationship developing and Lara seeing both the good and bad of the human world

@727note @MikeStoll28887 @notnijiatall Not all of the time. There plenty of cases where that trope is used and it’s not meant to be romantic. It’s used for familial relationships too. Do you think a girl saving her sister is meant to be romantic?

@stt0301 @pipicachi @zeweff @kyoruyeye Nah, I don’t think they’d do that. It’s 2026, we already have actual yuri anime airing this year. If it’s yuri, it’ll just be labeled as one. Mercury Gundam is sci-fi, not romance, so they’re not really comparable anyway.
