Our Marie Curie Bishop Auckland Fundraising Group had a cake sale on Saturday as part of the Bishop Auckland Community Fire Station Family Day. The group supplied lots of visitors with sweet and savoury treats and made a fab £283! Thank you to everyone who supported their stall💛

Our North Shields and Wallsend Marie Curie Fundraising Group had a pop-up stall in The Forum Shopping Centre last Saturday. They had a great day and raised £510.46. Thank you to all who stopped by and said hello!👋💛

Thank you, S Nicholson and Sons Painting and Decorating from Bishop Auckland who have donated £1,000 to Marie Curie. The business kindly donated this fantastic amount towards the recent charity golf day held at Bishop Auckland Golf Club in memory of Ian Larnach. 💛

Good luck to Stephen as he tackles his 21st Great North Run with his son Nathan in September! Over the last 25 years, Stephen has raised in excess of £10,000 for Marie Curie. We are in absolute awe of his hard work and dedication, which has now become an amazing family legacy!💛

A huge thank you to Morrisons Seaburn for hosting one of our summer collections over the weekend. Our wonderful volunteers raised a combined total of £648! We are incredibly grateful for their time and support and we'd also like to thank the very generous customers who donated!💛

Thank you to Jill Drummond who held her first ever tea party on Sunday with friends and family and raised an incredible £436.10! Jill was over the moon with the amount and they all had a fabulous day! We're so grateful for their wonderful support!🍰💛

A huge thank you and well done to the Bishop Auckland fundraising group who raised over £1,200 at their open garden event on Sunday 30th July. Over 100 people attended the garden and there were some fabulous cakes and tombola prizes on offer!🍰🏡

Well done to all the children, staff and parents at Footprints Day Nursery - North Shields for raising £101.25 for Marie Curie at their Summer Fayre. Everyone enjoyed taking part in the tombola, 'Name the Bear' and 'Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar.' 🧸
