Buttigieg: "The president's political operation was raising money off images at a dignified transfer. Any politician who does that has no business leading American troops into war. If the president is willing to raise campaign funds over the bodies of America's war dead, he is unfit to be the commander in chief."

Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone who agrees that it is GRUESOME and OBSCENE for trump to be using photos from the dignified transfer of soldiers who died in his illegal Iran war for fundraising. EVERYONE should condemn this.

Q: "Republicans are calling on you to apologize for that post. Is that something you're going to do?" Trump: "No, I didn't make a mistake. I mean, I look at a lot of thousands of things and I looked at the beginning of it. It was fine…It was a take off on the Lion King."

ON THIN ICE: President Trump issues a firm warning to Denmark over Greenland, making it clear that the U.S. will remember if its request for "world protection" is rejected: "So we want a piece of ice for world protection, and they won't give it." "We've never asked for anything else and we could have kept that piece of land and we didn't sell. They have a choice. You can say yes, and we will be very appreciative — or you can say no and we will remember."

The Supreme Court is set to rule on Trump's imposed tariffs, and it looks promising for the President. "Well, the odds have always been against the administration because this act is essentially silent on this particular power. But I think people were taken aback during the oral argument when the solicitor general's office did an extraordinary job and pointed out to this court the predecessor had these very same words and the supreme court allowed a president to impose tariffs. I think that took a lot of people back."

JUST IN: Trump says he will impose a 10% tariff on on goods sent to the U.S. from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland on Feb. 1, rising to 25% on June 1, “until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland.”

.@POTUS: "We have to respect our law enforcement. At a very minimum, that woman was very, very disrespectful to law enforcement... You can't do that with law enforcement, whether it's police, or ICE, or Border Patrol — or anybody else."

Reuters’s Nandita Bose: “On the agent, is he still on duty or has he been placed on leave on administrative leave? And what really was the target of the operation on Wednesday — of the ICE operation on Wednesday?” @VP @JDVance: “Well, first of all, it was a legitimate law enforcement operation. We were going door to door to try to find criminal, illegal aliens and deport them from the United States of America, because if you come to our country illegally and in violation of our immigration laws, then we have the mandate. And in fact, we have the legal duty to enforce those immigration laws, whether he’s been placed on administrative leave. I don’t know the answer to that question. I’d refer it to the Department of Homeland Security, and they can follow up. I will say, look, I would appreciate everybody saying a prayer for that. That agent. Look, in the past six months, he has been hit twice by a motor vehicle. One time — the first time, it led to over 30 stitches and very serious injuries to his legs. This is a guy who has actually done a very, very important job for the United States of America. He’s been assaulted, he’s been attacked. He’s been injured because of it. He deserves a debt of gratitude. And I think the media pre-judging and talking about this guy as if he’s a murderer, is one of the most disgraceful things I’ve ever seen from the American media.”

SECRETARY NOEM: "We are warning anyone if you think you can harm an individual, a citizen of the United States or a law enforcement officer, we will find you and bring you to justice." "If you lay a finger on one of our officers, we will catch you, we will prosecute you, and you will feel the full extent of the law."
