Oh my god, the fucking BIOLABS assclownery again. Again, I have some neato, firsthand, real-life knowledge of this. After the fall of the USSR, our government recognized that the FSU’s military-industrial complex was at high risk of just disappearing into the ether. People, materials, chemical weapons, biological weapons, machinery, blueprints, all of it. And yes, some DID disappear into the void of commercial and criminal interests. But what the US did is sincerely fascinating, and an example of just what real moral leadership for the whole world once meant to us. Through the Department of Energy, the USG set up a framework, implemented through NGOs, to basically pay those very scientists, lab guards, and so on to remain at their posts, to not go rogue to some terrorist state, and to safeguard some of the scariest shit on the planet in a bunch of new countries. For a while we were paying Russia to literally SECURE AND PROPERLY DISPOSE OF THEIR OWN NUKES. Guaranteed salaries. Guaranteed maintenance. Safety for billions. We did this for the good of the WHOLE PLANET, yes, but we also gained. You see, then those NGOs helped create public-private partnerships with American and international companies and those bio (and other) labs throughout the FSU to their benefit. I remember Schlumberger was a big one, and so on. These companies and these scientists would develop projects jointly, file patents, and both would benefit. Lots of the chemical guys switched to practical things like oil and gas extraction, and the bio folks to things that benefitted mankind, not threatened to wipe us all out. Now, I was a young buck just itching to get out into the field so I found the work of grants processing and oversight to be a bit dry for my tastes and eventually left to fuck around and nearly die like 9 times in Afghanistan, but looking back, it really was remarkable work, and an example of how those EVIL NGOS and Department of Energy “evil fraud grants” really used to work for the benefit of all mankind. If you ever want to learn about how fucking scary the USSR’s biological and chemical weapons programs were, I suggest you give “Biohazard” by Ken Alibek a read. Honestly, read ANY book at this point and stop believing Twitter conspiracy theories. As always, SLAVA UKRAINI 🇺🇦

🚨🇺🇸 DNI Tulsi Gabbard just launched an investigation into 120+ foreign biolabs that received U.S. taxpayer funding for decades... The labs span over 30 countries. More than 40 are in Ukraine. Tulsi didn't pull any punches: "Politicians, so-called health professionals like Dr. Fauci, and entities within the Biden administration lied to the American people about the existence of these US-funded biolabs and threatened those who tried to expose the truth." Receipts: Biden's team publicly denied U.S. biolabs in Ukraine in March 2022. One day earlier, Victoria Nuland testified to Congress that they existed. Both can't be true... Hegseth: "The era of lies and betrayal is over." Source: NY Post

MORE: ISW is no longer prepared to forecast when Russian forces might seize Donetsk, including the Fortress Belt, since the slowing rate of Russian advances and the challenging nature of the Ukrainian-held terrain in Donetsk makes it unclear that Russia is capable of seizing the territory at all. ⬇️ Russia’s exaggerated territorial ambitions and aggressive territorial demands run completely counter to battlefield reality. Anonymous sources in contact with Putin and additional sources familiar with the matter as well as a Ukrainian intelligence assessment shared with FT indicate that senior Russian commanders have convinced Putin that Russian forces could seize all of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts by Fall 2026. ISW has observed evidence to assess that Russian forces have only advanced 349.89 square kilometers in Donetsk Oblast since the start of 2026, an advance rate of 2.63 square kilometers per day. Strong Ukrainian fortifications, the area’s challenging human and physical geography, and Ukrainian counterattacks and mid-range strike campaign that are already inhibiting Russian offensive operations across the theater make the prospects for a Russian seizure of the rest of Donetsk dim. Russian forces first infiltrated into Kostyantynivka (the Fortress Belt’s southernmost city) in October 2025 and have failed to make any significant tactical gains in the city over the last six months. Ukrainian counterattacks in southern Ukraine since early 2026 have also forced Russia to choose between defending against Ukrainian counterattacks and allocating manpower and resources to priority sectors of the frontline, including the Fortress Belt. Ukraine’s recent successes are accomplishing tactical, operational, and strategic battlespace effects that undermine Putin’s narrative that the Ukrainian frontlines are on the verge of collapse. Two people involved in back-channel negotiations over ending the war told the FT that Putin’s ambitions are still to control all the Ukrainian territory between Russia and the Dnipro River, and possibly farther into Kyiv City and the port of Odesa, despite Russia’s stalling offensive. Putin’s thinking thus appears to be further and further removed from battlefield realities, likely resulting in the issuance of orders to the Russian military to make gains that it is not capable of making.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, May 13, 2026 The Kremlin is doubling down on its demand that Ukraine withdraw from all of Donbas as a precondition for the resumption of negotiations. Other Key Takeaways: Russia’s exaggerated territorial ambitions and aggressive territorial demands run completely counter to battlefield reality. US President Donald Trump said that he has not agreed with Putin that Russia should acquire all of Donetsk and Luhansk. Russian courts are increasingly leveraging corruption charges as a pretext to nationalize Russia’s largest corporations, likely setting conditions for the broader nationalization of private assets to support state revenues. Russian demands for cash reached an all-time high over Victory Day weekend, demonstrating rising societal fears over internet restrictions and tax policy. Ukrainian forces continue to increase the range and frequency of their long-range drones strikes against Russian oil infrastructure, exploiting overstretched Russian air defenses. Russian forces conducted large-scale drone strikes overnight on May 12 and throughout the day on May 13, killing at least six people. The Russian State Duma passed a bill granting the Russian president powers for extraterritorial military operations to protect Russian citizens abroad, previously introduced on March 10. Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Slovyansk, Oleksandrivka, and Hulyaipole directions and in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area.

An appreciation post for the 1.5 billion cattle currently on Earth, quietly holding the whole thing together while receiving nothing but criticism in return. Consider, for a moment, what these animals actually do: - They turn grass, a thing no human can digest, into steak, a thing every human thrives on - They graze the two-thirds of farmland that grows nothing else, asking for no thanks and receiving none - They carry the most bioavailable iron, B12, and zinc on the planet, and deliver it on the hoof - They produce butter, which on its own would justify the entire arrangement - They fertilise the soil for free, through a process we are all too polite to describe in detail - They build topsoil and sequester carbon into pasture, while being blamed, somehow, for the reverse - They give us tallow, leather, marrow, suet, and gelatine, with no waste and no complaints - They restore land that crops have exhausted, turning the worn-out and the marginal back into something living - They stand in the rain for years on end and never once bring it up Ten thousand years of domestication. Ten thousand years of being the most useful animal in the field, the foundation of the food system, and a keystone of every landscape lucky enough to hold them. They are not the problem with the planet's future. They are, quite plainly, the shape of it. We repaid all of this by putting them on the front of climate reports. Magnificent animals. Owed an apology.

🚩The "Blood Grain" Pipeline🚩 russia is currently using the sale of stolen Ukrainian grain to directly fund its drone production. The scheme involves falsified documents, "shadow" vessels, and Turkish private firms that supply international aid organizations. The Drone Link: The russian exporter Nika (owned by Roman Gurov) is the primary seller. Gurov also heads Roboavia, a sanctioned firm manufacturing "Sarych" and "Surpriz" combat drones. Profits from stolen Ukrainian grain are literally building the drones hitting Ukrainian cities. The Laundering Hub: Stolen grain from Mariupol and Berdyansk is shipped to the russian port of Temryuk. There, it receives "clean" russian paperwork before being exported to Turkey. The UN Connection: Turkish giant Erisler Gida - a major supplier for the UN World Food Programme - has been identified as a key recipient of this laundered grain. The bulk carrier Panormitis is currently anchored at Iskenderun, Turkey (as of May 13, 2026). It was chased out of Israel after a diplomatic row and is now attempting to unload its stolen cargo in Turkey. List of Verified Investigations (2026): 1. Slidstvo.Info & OCCRP (March 25, 2026): "Turkish UN Supplier Buys Grain Stolen in Mariupol." This is the definitive report linking the Gurov family, drone manufacturing, and Erisler Gida. 2. SeaKrime / Myrotvorets Center: Ongoing real-time tracking of the "Shadow Fleet." They provided the GPS and manifest data for the Panormitis and the Alfa M. 3. Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (April 2026): Official report detailing the $1 billion annual profit russia is extracting from seized agricultural lands in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. 4. Haaretz Investigation (April 26, 2026): Exposed the "internal logs" of tussian authorities in occupied ports, listing over 30 shipments destined for international markets via Turkish transshipment hubs.

🇺🇦 Zelensky: We are finding out in detail what kind of weapons – what kind of missiles and drones – the Russians used this time. In Kyiv, according to preliminary data, a house was hit by an Kh-101 missile. Production is in the second quarter of this year. And this means that Russia is still importing components for missile production, the necessary resources and equipment, bypassing global sanctions. And this should be a real goal of all our partners – to stop Russian schemes for bypassing sanctions. We are preparing steps that can intensify our joint counteraction: sanctions should be more painful for Russia.

Rozdzierająca serce historia. 80-letnia Nina Michajłowna Litwinowa — uczestniczka ruchu dysydenckiego w czasach sowieckich, wspaniała i dobra osoba — popełniła samobójstwo, bo nie mogła dłużej znosić otaczającej ją rzeczywistości i bezradności, którą czuła. A brzmi on tak: „Kocham was wszystkich i myślę o was. Chcę, żeby to imię zostało zapamiętane — Nina Michajłowna Litwinowa. Całe życie pomagała ludziom za kratami. Nie mogła dalej żyć, bo nie mogła tych ludzi stamtąd wyciągnąć i nie mogła powstrzymać wojny.
