This is extremely grim news, and confirms that the US is aligning with Putin's "sistema" approach of advancing far-right allies throughout Europe and in the US. In short: pay your allies; marginalize and persecute your enemies.

NAFO, apparently people with these kinds of profile pictures are part of a new paid/bot army. I have been seeing them popping up very rapidly under a lot of Ukraine posts. Not as ugly in spirit as Vatniks, but still clearly shills.

These types of posts are dumb. I could post 500 pictures from my time in Afghanistan that would blow your mind with the beauty of their natural and human subjects. “Beautiful” never equals inherently “good”. Only a simpleton - or a shill - thinks in these terms, Bryce.

The media told us Russia 🇷🇺 was sh*t hole. The media told us Russia 🇷🇺 wasn’t safe. The media lied. Russia is one of the safest countries in Europe. It’s one of the most advanced countries in Europe. Russia 🇷🇺 is beautiful.

It’s easy to look at the world right now and think “What a pile of shit”. I know I do. But I have also often thought that I am privileged to be alive at the same time as John Williams, his music, and the endless ways to listen to it that few humans throughout history had.

Good morning all. ☕ Here is the theme to "Jurassic Park" performed by the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of John Williams. Rest in Peace Sam Neill.

Realizing due to Sam Neill that the best possible online eulogy a person can receive is everyone who posts about you does so by sharing one of the thousands upon thousands of photos and videos of you smiling and holding one of your pets.

@actsmaniac Yes, but if you get tired the Metro quite good - way less confusing than Boston or New York, safe. It’s not cheap but it can get you around to all the major sites easily!

@Kathlee14861239 @iamAtheistGirl It’s terrible there aren’t better options, right? My cancer is late stage and kind of rare and it doesn’t have any other options (no immunotherapies developed yet for my specific mutation) so I am stuck with this and a lot of prayer. Best wishes to you for total cancer defeat!!

@MarinStrade @iamAtheistGirl I was dx with breast cancer, started Arimidex after surgery and radiation. Short of breath, heart arrhythmia, joint pain, hair loss, bone loss, fatigue. No frozen shoulder. Eleven months I said no more. Within 2 weeks most symptoms gone. Loss of estrogen will destroy your body.

well i just learned about another wonderful potential symptom of menopause 😭 for over six months now my shoulder has been fucked up limited mobility and excruciating pain if i pushed it too far nothing caused it i’ve been wracking my brain trying to come up with something and i did nothing to it. i’ve been going to physical therapy for a month + and they’re just like 🤷‍♀️ this has been a major issue because when the pain happens it renders me completely unable to move and the other day it happened on a horse in an already dangerous situation so i’ve been super frustrated not being able to fix it or understand wtf i get an email from one of the services in the US that provide HRT it was titled “the connection between frozen shoulder and menopause” this is exactly what’s going on i didn’t even know such a thing existed and it is far more likely to happen to a woman between 40-60 perimenopause and menopause 🤦‍♀️ they think it’s related to the drop in hormones and i didn’t get on HRT immediately that might have prevented this 😭 so in case you didn’t know either now you do brownhealth.org/be-well/frozen…

So I did almost a year of traditional PT but I also went to one of those “Stretch Labs” that have popped up in the US - not sure if you have something like that where you live but it helped immensely. One year later, I still can’t reach behind my back or overhead with both arms but the pain in one at least is gone. Wishing you the best, I would rather go through chemo again than have this shit.

My parents were OVERJOYED to welcome me back home every time. Not just because I’m cool but because an extra younger pair of hands around the house was very helpful to them. My dad in particular loved it because he could send me to go get him Dairy Queen, which my mom would not allow 😂 I know that everyone’s situation with their folks is different and that I was lucky.

This is a dumb take. I knew I wanted to go to grad school so I moved home, worked, saved, and spent time with the folks/grandparents. After my dad died, I moved home and those years before my mom died created great memories. If you have good ones, live with your folks.

Kick Your Kids Out of the House at 18 There was never a question that I would be leaving home at 18. My parents did help me with college, and I came home on the weekends a lot my freshman year, but much less so as time went on. When I got out of college, moving home wasn't an option. My parents didn't want me there, and I would have been ashamed to mooch off them. Instead, I got a crap job, got roommates, and started making it on my own while driving a barely functional car my parents got me in high school. Did I visit? Did I ask for advice? Did I get some help from my parents here and there? Absolutely. But you're not really an adult living your own life until you're out of your parents' house. "Oh, but it's tougher today...." No, it's not. Early on, my jobs sucked. I always had roommates. I had very little money. It was not fun, but I sucked it up and made it work. That doesn't make me exceptional; it just means I was doing what an adult was expected to do. One way or the other, kids shouldn't be staying with their parents through their mid-twenties. They need to get out on their own, make their own way, and forge their own identity as something other than Mama and Daddy's little boy or girl.

We took part in France’s military parade marking Bastille Day. Today, Ukrainian warriors also marched ceremonially down the Champs-Élysées, while our pilots flew Mirage fighter jets as part of joint French-Ukrainian crews. It is a great honor for us to be here. Emmanuel’s invitation to our defenders is a sign of respect and recognition of the strength of Ukraine, our people, and our Armed Forces. We thank our warriors. We thank France and all our partners who stand with Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇫🇷

Sasha Kakashka (@sashameetsrus) won’t show you this: For a week already “normal” citizens of Novorossisk did not get to fuel their cars, so they decided to take a fuel truck hostage. Long range sanctions are working.
