@GTFCHeritage Successful restoration of what has to be one of the oldest #gtfc tickets in existence. Town lost the cup final replay against Lincoln City 2-0. At least they beat Morton St. Paul's 19-0 on the way to the final... @MarinersArchive @MarinerMen @codalmighty

@MarinersArchive thought you might like to see this. It was my Dads who was the brother of Ken Jenkin who played as a winger for the club in the 50's.

For anyone who prefers reading to doing jigsaws, there's a new Town book in the club shop today.
A 150 page A4 sized book for just £9.99 will cheer up even the most miserable of Town fans at Christmas time!
It'a very limited edition BTW. @onthisGTFCday @codalmighty

@TigersEarly That’s interesting. Do you have any info on the cards issued? I understood they were issued by Sports Pics of 12 Victoria Avenue, Hull. Printed in sheets of 16. I’m aware of 24 Grimsby cards.

A 1948 Hull FC publication containing colour caricatures of players- looks like same artist did similar for #hcafc

NEW PLAYER ALERT!
Not the greatest photo, but squint to see Ernie Brooks who played 3 times on the right wing for #GTFC in the 1919/20 season.
When I started there were 91 players since joining the League that we didn't have a photo of, now only 24 to go.

Excellent booklet full of information and illustrations on the life and career of Ambrose Langley (#GTFC 1889-1891) from Clive Nicholson @SpiksleyBook to commemorate the fantastic work they have done at SWFC to fund a headstone for his grave.
