Tutorial on Reaching Score Cap (65000) for Notorious Marionette in Zenless Zone Zero's "Deadly Assault" Mode The core knowledge required for the specific team used in this video has been discussed before in x.com/MarioMario2468… That said, this boss in particular is infamous for its strict requirements for maximum Performance Points (5000). Defeating one clone grants 200 of these, so in total, 25 clones must be destroyed before the boss is slain. Most runs will end either in 1. the boss being defeated before you can meet these requirements or 2. you meeting these requirements but falling short of a kill. Since the moves that spawn these clones are largely dependent on RNG, it is difficult to replicate runs exactly. However, at the start of the fight, you can limit the boss's movements through a bottleneck strategy that is somewhat consistent at ensuring both boss kills and maximum Performance Points. In general, make sure that Dialyn is often able to perform three EX Specials (Rock, Scissors, and Paper) in quick succession since the third move will inflict the "Malicious Complaint" effect (extended stun window and amplified stun damage multiplier). The EX Specials also inflict the "Overwhelmingly Positive" effect for a brief period, which is a general damage boost. When the teammate before Dialyn is a Rupture Agent, her EX Specials inherit that teammate's Sheer Force as well. It is also worth noting that keeping Lucia's Ether Veil (which raises the whole team's maximum HP and therefore Sheer Force) active at all times is worth it for considerable damage throughout the fight. Generally, using Yixuan's EX Special after the boss shows a yellow flash is risky as this counter tends to disrupt the boss's natural rhythm with spawning clones. In that case, try to rely on Dashes to dodge most of them if you can, unless Yixuan needs to replenish her unique resource "Technique Points" quickly before a stun phase happens so she can use Ultimate: Endless Talisman Suppression. If the boss reaches maximum Auric Ink Anomaly Buildup or Ether Anomaly Buildup, it can be staggered for a few seconds, disrupting its natural rhythm with spawning clones. It is best to trigger both of these effects at the same time to inflict Disorder and extra Daze, minimizing the waiting time for the boss to recover. Every time the boss enters an invulnerable phase, it is guaranteed to summon 5 clones in quick succession, so it is important to eliminate all of them in order to reach maximum Performance Points. Reset the run if you miss any of them. DAMAGE PHASE 1: 1. Dialyn must perform "Rock" and "Scissors". Make sure that a clone spawns immediately, or else you can reset the run. Yixuan can use an Ultimate right after this if she has her first Mindscape unlocked. 2. Lucia must activate Ether Veil through an EX Special (Defensive Assists tend to draw out the fight for too long by preventing clones from spawning, so if this happens this very early on, reset the run). 3. Dialyn performs "Paper". 4. Yixuan must repeatedly perform Basic Attack combos, using her EX Special counter (this quickly boosts Yixuan's unique resource, her "Technique Points") only when the boss shows a red flash before it attacks or if the boss is in the middle of an attack animation after summoning a clone a few seconds beforehand. 5. Make sure you have eliminated 5 clones before beginning the first stun phase near a remaining time of 02:22 in the fight. It is best to reserve Yixuan's Ultimates until the stun bar appears. You can also use Dialyn to force an extra Ultimate if you have the time before the stun phase is over. Your goal is to get as close as possible to a score of 25000 by the end of the first stun phase. 6. When the boss begins its first invulnerable phase near a remaining time of 02:02 in the fight, you must repeatedly tap the EX Special button while playing as Yixuan in order to eliminate the first 3 clones that spawn, but be careful not to go too fast or else you will miss the third clone. The fourth and fifth clones can be defeated at the same time when Yixuan performs a Dodge Counter while staying in the same spot. Next, if you have enough Adrenaline at this point, feel free to use an EX Special again to counter the boss itself when it dives at you. DAMAGE PHASE 2: 1. Dialyn must perform "Rock", "Scissors", and "Paper" immediately, and follow it up with Yixuan's Basic Attacks or Dodge Counters. 2. Once the boss has accumulated enough Auric Ink Anomaly Buildup to be staggered for a few seconds, use Dialyn's Ultimate on it, followed by Lucia's Ultimate. 3. Allow the boss to spawn a third clone and eliminate this clone before initiating the second stun phase near a remaining time of 01:31 in the fight. Your goal is to get as close as possible to a score of 45000 by the end of the second stun phase. 4. Defeat the five clones that appear during the boss's second invulnerable phase near a remaining time of 01:02 in the fight. DAMAGE PHASE 3: 1. Dialyn must perform "Rock", "Scissors", and "Paper" immediately, and follow it up with Yixuan's Basic Attacks or Dodge Counters. 2. Lucia must reactivate her Ether Veil with an EX Special. 3. Allow the boss to spawn a second clone and eliminate this clone before starting the third stun phase near a remaining time of 00:41 in the fight. You MUST use Yixuan's Ultimate: Qingming Skyshade before engaging in a Chain Attack, since this Ultimate may cause problems with accidentally killing the boss before you can eliminate the last 5 clones if it is used later. Your goal is to get as close as possible to a score of 62000 by the end of the second stun phase. 4. Once you reach 62000, you must stop using any Ultimates since these have the greatest risk of ending the fight prematurely. Instead, rely on Basic Attacks to push the boss as close to a score of 64000 as possible without killing it. 5. Wait until the boss begins its third invulnerable phase near a remaining time of 00:10 in the fight. Defeat the last 5 clones and finish off the boss as quickly as possible. Congratulations, you have beaten the most complicated boss in the game! Tutorial on Reaching Score Cap (65000) for Wandering Hunter in Zenless Zone Zero's "Deadly Assault" Mode The focus of the gameplay in the video involves 1. careful management of the Agents' unique meters and 2. performing as many "Shoulder to Shoulder" attacks as possible (this involves starting an attack with one Agent, quickly swapping to another, and then attacking while the previous Agent's animation is still ongoing). When there is a Rupture Agent in her squad, Dialyn grants a damage buff that activates for a brief time period whenever any Agent in the squad performs an EX Special or Ultimate. The duration of this buff is extended whenever Dialyn herself performs an EX Special or Ultimate. Similarly, Lucia applies a Sheer Force and Critical Damage buff to Rupture and Stun Agents in her squad when she performs an EX Special. By performing the fifth hit in the Basic Attack combo, or a Dodge Counter, or a Defensive Assist, or an EX Special, or an Ultimate, Lucia earns Dream Points (her unique meter). When Lucia has earned enough of them, she enters her Dream state and activates her Ether Veil, which increases all Agents' max HP and consequently raises Sheer Force. While the Dream state is still active, Lucia can consume Dream Points to perform Aftershock attacks whenever any other Agent in the squad attacks an enemy. In short, you maximize your team's damage when you periodically perform EX Specials with both Dialyn and Lucia throughout the entire fight. Meanwhile, Yixuan's role as the main DPS demands that the majority of her Ultimates must land as soon as the boss enters a stun window. Yixuan is unique among Rupture Agents in that she can use multiple Ultimates back to back, even at Mindscape 0. One Ultimate requires accumulating Technique Points by consuming Adrenaline in two different ways: 1. holding the Basic Attack button or 2. performing a well-timed counter with the EX Special button. The other Ultimate relies on accumulating Decibels, which can be earned through Basic Attacks, EX Specials, Dodge Counters, Defensive Assists, or Chain Attacks. Once Dialyn has accumulated enough Positive Reviews (her unique meter) through EX Specials, she can force a Chain Attack by holding the Basic Attack button, which can be used to trigger an extra Ultimate performed by whomever you choose of the other two Agents in the squad. To reach the score cap, it's best for the main DPS to use the extra Ultimate, especially in the middle of a stun window. There is more leeway for Yixuan to use Ultimates outside of stun windows when she has higher Mindscapes. However, for F2P players, these are not required to meet the 3-star requirement score (20000) for this specific boss fight. Some goalposts to hit when you are aiming for the max score during the fight are 24000 by the end of the first stun window, and 48000 by the end of the second stun window. Beyond that point, you should simply ensure that your Agents have plenty of Adrenaline/Energy available prior to the third stun window. Obtaining 5000 performance points after the first minute of the fight is very straightforward with using the Perception Technique on little Lucia and following up with a Defensive Assist. Tutorial on Reaching Score Cap (65000) for Sanguine Sweeper in Zenless Zone Zero's "Deadly Assault" Mode Ring-ring-ring!!! Calling all idols! This video explores the full potential of the Angels of Delusion with the latest boss from ZZZ 2.7! To start, the requirements for maximum Performance Points (5000) are very straightforward! They can be obtained purely through Defensive Assists during the Control Skill Phase and the boss's following rushdown attacks. The Control Skill Phase begins with a fakeout that is part of a long windup where the boss vanishes for one second to launch his first strike. You can dodge this move as soon as the boss reappears, either with the Dash button or the Switch button. The boss will then follow up with 5 strikes that can all be parried via Defensive Assist. The first and fifth of these strikes have a slight delay compared to the rest, so you will have to wait for a fraction of a second to get the correct timing for them. Just pay attention to when the Defensive Assist button starts glowing yellow! Doing all of the Defensive Assists correctly inflicts the "Shutdown" status effect on the boss and provides you with an opportunity to do some damage before he raises up his Corruptive Barrier. The boss will perform up to 4 rushdown attacks while the Corruptive Barrier is active, but you can only parry 3 of these with a Defensive Assist. After the third Defensive Assist, the boss will remain still for a brief moment, providing you with another opportunity to deal more damage. At this point, you will have all of the Performance Points you need for the fight. As for the core strategy for the majority of the fight, your goal is to provide Aria with "Fandom Power" stacks so she can repeatedly deal significant damage and Anomaly Buildup when you hold the Basic Attack button, which consumes 2 stacks at a time. These stacks can be earned back in different amounts when Aria completes a Basic Attack combo [1 stack], Aria uses her EX Special [3 stacks], Aria uses her Ultimate [4 stacks], you choose Aria during a Chain Attack [4 stacks], or an Ether Veil has been activated (which Sunna provides by consuming Energy; it is recommended that you focus on maximizing Energy Regen in Sunna's build) [4 stacks]. The one catch is that Aria cannot hold more than 8 stacks, so it's best to use them whenever you are close to reaching the limit. Once the stun phase begins, you have the option of doing a "Double Chain Attack" with Aria. The process is simple: 1. Another character starts a Chain Attack. 2. You can choose Aria for the follow-up. 3. Cancel the Chain Attack. 4. Swap into another character and start the Chain Attack again. 5. Choose Aria for the follow-up once more. One thing that is worth noting for a team with Nangong is that she performs backwards Quick Assists when you swap to her when an enemy has been stunned. When you cancel the Chain Attack (while playing as Aria), it's possible to hold the Basic Attack button immediately afterwards so Aria begins performing a bounce. In the middle of this animation, you can quickly swap to Nangong to trigger her backwards Quick Assist, which lets you swap back instantly to Aria for a Double Chain Attack. After all of that, you are free to consume all of Aria's "Fandom Power" stacks and use her Ultimate (if there are enough Decibels for it) to deal as much damage as possible during the stun phase. Ideally, you would use up 4 stacks before performing her Ultimate after a Chain Attack, which will restore those stacks and allow you to inflict considerably more damage with each bounce from her charged Basic Attack afterwards. If you equip the 4-piece "Phaethon's Melody" Drive Disc set on Nangong Yu, then she gains Anomaly Proficiency when she performs an EX Special or gains a boost in Ether Damage when any of her teammates perform a EX Special. Both of these help her contribute more as the fight progresses, which is why it is important to perform EX Specials before doing moves that inflict significant damage. One last piece of advice is to perform as many Assist Follow-Ups with Nangong as possible to inflict maximum Daze and start the next stun phase sooner. For this fight in particular, you should be able to achieve 4 stun phases total in order to reach the score cap.
