I made a serious mistake and said things I deeply regret. There’s no excuse for it. I’m really sorry to my fans, Envy, Riot, and everyone who supports me — I’ve let you down. Ever since I started playing this game, I’ve wanted to be the best. For the past five years I’ve put in close to 10 hours a day grinding and trying to improve. During that time, especially in ranked, I’ve acted immaturely, and this is a clear wake-up call that I need to be better. This year I started taking streaming seriously, putting in around 200 hours a month when I’m not travelling. I always try to be entertaining, but I got lost and understand that doesn’t excuse what I said. As I approach 18, I want to become a better example, not a bad one. I accept my punishment and will use this time to grow and make sure it never happens again. I’m fully committed to this game and to coming back the right way.

Sunday night my mother passed away from cancer. Im at a loss of words. I won’t be able to play the matches this weekend because of her funeral ,but I have two favors too ask. 1 pray for my mother. 2. Call your parents and talk to them. You’ll never know when it’s the last time.

@joshrt Straight to playoffs is wack, especially right now with the new nerfs. Maybe first seeds should get some advantage in Swiss like 1-0 or something.

For the second Masters, is there a format where 1st seeds still play the group stage? Skipping straight to playoffs doesn’t feel like much of an advantage in a tournament like this, and I’m sure most 1st seeds would rather play groups. Tournament momentum is real. Now that I’ve experienced both sides, I’d rather play group stage and take the Champ Points and trophy as the real reward for winning our region. I get that Riot only has limited venue days, so I don’t have a clear solution here.
