I’ve just had this huge fabric banner donated to me. Football added for scale. I’m not sure what to do with it, it could make a great table cloth maybe? 😆

Super Mario World 'Boo Boo Mario' (or Būbū Mario, ブーブーマリオ) was a 1993 Banpresto-licensed amusement arcade kiddie ride/video game. It's not often you see both the Mario and Yoshi figures from this machine to bid on at auction, just a little refurbishment needed!

@ima_1966 I loved this game, it was so atmospheric. I remember having the “speed Metroid” record for a while and seeing my name printed in the British “Super Play” magazine. Good times!

Nintendo video game collecting is fundamentally what I've done for decades, but I've been working hard for a while now to take my knowledge and passion to the next level (pardon the pun!). I'm on a mission to engage with the British public and industry, and work with charities such as the @TheBGI to promote the importance of video game preservation, and shape conversations around games as cultural and historical artefacts. I was honoured this week to have been invited to speak at @londongamesfest where I took to the main stage to talk about exactly this topic. It was truly special to have a platform to talk about 130+ years of Nintendo, at an event that was mostly about promoting the newest indie games from the UK and beyond (thanks @BitSummit!) The feedback I got was humbling and I know the audience left with a deeper appreciation of Nintendo’s fascinating history! I've got more lined up so watch this space! #任天堂 #lgf
