Every time I write Menelaris I have to put on Troy soundtrack instead of PTM, not because I prefer it, but because otherwise Agamemnon's bitchy voice will take my attention away from what's important (Menelaos) and I think it's tragic

@thetrojanwhore I love to dunk on Paris too occasionally (he’s my boy), but it makes sad when people legitimately hate him without understanding all the complexities (especially with his abandonment as a baby)

The way no one actually understands Paris’ character or his relationships and overall role in the story of the Iliad (+ other ancient texts like Alexandros) never fails to irritate me. People talk so much shit with the most shallow view and surface level acknowledgement of him
