I had a few Christmas jobs to do today, one was over the farm workshop, the farmer is selling an ISUZU Trooper, I was thinking of looking into buying it for a bit of R&R fun over the fields, I had to abandon looking at the motor for now, yep you guessed it, Leo, so I had a cup of tea and slice of homemade farm cake instead… 😳🥴 Another job on the list Mrs H handed to me, bless her, was to put the outside Christmas lights up, how hard could it be? Or so I thought, i ended up putting my fleece into the washing machine, ‘putting up Christmas lights’ - it was cold, windy, muddy, and….Leo. 🥹🥴👇 Leo won anyway, (again) I managed to just about string the lights up, and Leo walked away with a beef bully chew as proud as punch. 🥹❤️ When it gets dark, I’m sure the lights will look better. 😁

Bless him. Leo has absolutely no idea just how close he came today to a life of puppy farming hell. My problem now? These people I came across today, they are lawless, they don’t take no for an answer, they don’t particularly liken to being beaten either. Even the Police are scared witless of them. They will be back soon enough. I will be sleeping with one eye open for the next few days. 🥹

If you need a smile on your face today, this may help… Early this morning, I was off out and about with my next door neighbour, we were to go metal,detecting at a friend’s farm a few miles away. Leo was already at the front door, waiting. There’s more to this story to unfold, and fingers crossed, the ill-winds are blowing through regarding Leo. “It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good". All dogs have a resilience us Hoo’s can never fully comprehend, Leo has an absolute abundance of resilience, bless him. So, “The bad news is nothing lasts forever. The good news is nothing lasts forever," My next door neighbour just happens to be the cousin of the ‘owner’ of Leo, although he will not agree to give Leo up, we now very strongly suspect he will agree to allow Leo to come on long breaks and holidays to the coast with us. So, in essence, Leo now has two beaches, and two holiday homes he is welcome at, with an extended family who love him, and care for him, and between my neighbour and us, he has four doggy siblings too! We did have a chuckle this morning, Leo is very clever, a bit too clever, he visits not just our home, and gets treats, food, cuddles, love and attention, and a comfy sofa, he has several others too. Leo is starting to resemble a cat. 👍😁❤️

I will unblock those that I have recently blocked. Everyone deserves a second chance.. As for these West African and South American constant beggars, constantly begging for ever more money, I will just have to learn the lessons on how to tolerate their constant, and never ending begging. A lesson learned… All that matters, are the animals. I should never, ever have become so emotionally involved, or concerned by their incessant, non-stop begging in the first place. Due to recent personal attacks by DM, and my ever decreasing, and mistrust with these West African & South American fake animal shelters, I am now at a cusp in life. I come across an abandoned dog named Hope, I did what I thought was right. I should never, ever have got involved in the political aspects of these West African, or South American scammers. I did. I am now paying the price. I will give it 24 hours, then if I feel the same, I will shut #hopesjourney #weloveleo down. I have had enough, I have had enough of West African and South American scammers to sink a battleship, I have had enough of the misguided, misinformed DM’s to literally sink a battleship. Enough is enough. Harry… at this point signing out.. 👍❤️

Mrs H and myself had a serious discussion about Leo this afternoon, long story short, what will be, will be, fate will decide. Please understand, Leo really can be a handful, he is a free spirit, Leo is overjoyed to be let into the house, fed and falls asleep on the sofa, that doesn’t last long, Leo has a barking issue, and when he has had enough and wants out, he will let you know. also, we have the other three dogs to think about, Hope and Gracie- Rose, will only tolerate Leo for short bursts, then and especially Hope, if Leo tries to hog all the limelight from me, turns on him. This is not insurmountable by far, Leo is still young, he can be trained, today we started to train Leo with a pocketful of treats. 👍❤️

Leo will not give up, and neither will I.. 👍❤️ Rescued or abandoned dogs are not damaged or broken. They have been tested, and they come out stronger. They have proven that nothing can break their spirit.

I only went to my motor for two minutes because I left my phone in the car… Leo is relentless. The tenacity of a dog, along with their resilience for life and unconditional love, along with their unwavering spirit, is truly humbling, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog" Leo has not only captured my heart, he has captured the hearts of many #hopesjourney wonderful followers. ❤️👍
