@daniel_dhawan @GeorgeLampro20 @rork What's the typical timeline you've seen from idea to that first $100 in revenue?

@ArjunSlices Could you explain what you mean by playbook?
English

@MariusFerraro08 Day 1 organic hits! Love to see it. What's your playbook for converting those trials? #buildinpublic
English

@Jadeuiuu It’s funny someone else said the same exact thing to me earlier, gonna have to change that. Only annoying part is that the paywall screen says start free trial for both so it’s kind of be scamming until I get an update out
English

@MariusFerraro08 Congrats, why add a free trial to monthly sub? It kind of undermines the yearly offer if that’s what you’re pushing
English

@X9STEW This is what my organic views are looking like right now. It’s demoralizing for sure, but it’s just how it is. Do you have organic content posted?

English

@fletchchrist Have creator deals in the works for the upcoming weeks
English

@MariusFerraro08 What are you using to create your ads?
English

@fletchchrist First video was just a quick screen recording of my app, next was an algorithm boosting post, then another app related post using my own personal gameplay.
English

@u48as9kf3q Although not a bad idea, I’d rather put that money into a creator who has a good following in my niche that will target direct customers. Your point if 100% accurate, but not a deal breaker for someone if they like the app already.
English

feel ya. if i can suggest something, it’s to hire a social media designer from the philippines, india, or latam. pay them ~$300 a month for 30 carousels and post them every month. this will improve conversion massively because, naturally, people who want to download and pay for your app will look at your ig and see that it's active, so it'll give it more credibility.
English

@u48as9kf3q It’s hard making content for something I’m not very experienced in. As an athlete, mostly lacrosse, I am now able to use my own highlight tapes and expertise to pump out organic content.
English

@MariusFerraro08 aim for at least 1000 posts you cannot consider this account not working until you’ve posted 1000 times
English

@loganstakeley No need to, think this is a perfect monthly price. You buy a year you get 6 months free basically.
English

@lucareverie I would argue quite the opposite honestly. Whether the player can afford a coach on the side, or can’t, this app can be used as a brush up on your skills app, or a complete let me learn something new app.
English

@MariusFerraro08 I feel like this would be a tough sell. Lacrosse is already an expensive sport, those playing who wanted extra help would likely be able to get a coach or lessons. Probably better off trying a sport that has a lower barrier to entry.
English

@KaemRoman @rork I used an open ai api key and linked it through rork. I suggest using Claude while doing it, will give you detailed step by step!
English

@MariusFerraro08 @rork Awesome, Marius!
Could you share how you were able to integrate video recognition? Struggling to integrate it myself…
Thank you 🙏🏼
English

Here’s what I accomplished in one day of using Rork:
Full Onboarding
Complete app UI
Video Recognition
Paywall
In one day I have built an app that could honestly be put into review. @rork is making development easier than ever.
What is stopping you?

English

@Jahjiren Honestly nothing, I believe I had the right formula to success, but being in the fashion industry the inflation of influencers prices was outrageous. This time around, I can use my personal athletic background to create more relationships, and influencers are passionate this time
English

@MariusFerraro08 what are you going to do different this time around?
English

@quinnslcm As a current senior player and club player for half my life, I believe this tool would’ve helped me when I first started out. When people don’t know where to start or what to do, they come to my app.
English

@bairod_sk Minimal capital to compete with the fashion industry. Fashion influencers prices have been inflated due to big companies, making it impossible for me.
English

@lukcombinator Honestly, I was a small fish in huge waters, trying to get fashion influencers was a financial burden. With this app, I’m a huge fish in small waters, minimal competition and the creators are actually passionate about what they advertise, not just the money aspect.
English

@MariusFerraro08 First month prediction: more meaningful than any number is whether you get 1 user who actively uses it every day without you chasing them. That's the real signal. What did the first app teach you about what to do differently this time with distribution?
