Last week we welcomed Notre Dame for a @MarjonOutreach workshop. Learners were tasked with creating a sports drink brand, researching ingredients, designing a poster and developing an advert! We had so much fun and the learners were fantastic! @ChrisSmietanka #activelearning

We then spent some time in the @marjonuni Sports Lab with @Benanniss & @ChrisSmietanka where students used the state of the art facilities to assess their knee stability 🤩🔬

MSc Sport & Exercise Science student Gareth Law - Head of Physiotherapy at Plymouth Argyle F.C conducting testing for his studies. He used the Isokinetic Dynamometer to test quadricep strength and single leg jumps using force decks and 2D cameras to monitor landing kinematics.
