@TheStackSystem @jertybird Unfortunately, I pulled something last week during session, now getting alerts I am losing grit, anywhere on app can I tell it I'm hurt so it doesn't make me look like a slacker ?

Thoughts from Tue at PGA: -I played the front nine today early in the morning. -Quick notes: fairways are decently generous. Rough is thick and strong but not as much as Oakmont. Typical PGA I’d say. You can get a good lie in the rough if you’re lucky as it is spotty. -You need to carry it at least 285 for some bunkers but you don’t need to be a total bomber. -Greens are tricky. There are lots of spines, and the pga can get really tricky with pins IF they choose. For ex, this pin on 3 in between two knobs that’ll be very tough. (1st pic) -There are two CRAZY potential pins on 9, but I don’t think there’s enough room for those spots. USGA might use one of them but PGA doesn’t get too crazy usually. (2nd pic) -I lost my normal sunglasses and I ended up trying these… not sure how I feel about them. Yay or nay?

@MarkBorlin I'd say when you're evaluating putters, just close your eyes and orient the face. Try to aim the face during that exploration. Use it as one factor in your decision making. For a lot of folks, a stronger signal there is better.

A great way to evaluate how well you'll be able to dynamically orient (aim) the putter face is close your eyes while evaluating putters.

@jertybird Thanks, I think 😀, so putt with your eyes closed and see which one you do better with?

@MarkBorlin For sure. If a putter has no offset of grip axis to it's system center of gravity, your ability to spatially sense the face direction (proprioception) is gone. Better to have this sixth sense.

Love this from Women’s US Open Champion Maja Stark at this weeks first major The Chevron as shot by @GolfweekNichols ⛳️🙌 Bands are perfect for pre-round or pre-range session warmups and I recommend getting a couple and keeping them in your golf bag👌  Some great moves here working on pushing, pulling, lower body stability, freedom through the trunk and just look at the intent on those last few reps too 🔥  This kind of stuff is simple, easy to do and doesn’t take up much time yet it is still something the vast majority of golfers don’t take advantage of 😩

If you want detailed videos on how I hit these 56 degree bump run and med traj videos, go search on my profile for steep vs shallow chipping videos. Go to my profile. Click on the 🔎 on the top right, search steep, click on the videos page. That entire thread can be useful

My own break 100 90 80 around the green 🧵 Break 100 -Use putter whenever possible. 56 degree if not. -For the bump and run with 56 Feet together. Feet about 1ft from the ball. Hands ahead of the ball and feel like it’s the body doing all the work. No hands no wrist. -Don’t worry about getting it super close. Focus on good contact. (For good contact hands have to stay ahead and head to stay tall)

Not sure what kind of start I’m going to get off to or the game I’ll have on the first tee but it’s going to be important to stay patient and take it shot by shot. I feel good in the prep that I’ve done and all I can do is fully commit to my shots and pursue them the best that I can and see what happens. I’ll be watching some of the early coverage to see how the course is playing. Wish me luck!

Augusta Diaries Wed -Fina prep day on the course. I played the first nine. It was nice to look at the notes I had written down from Monday and to double check some of them. I made slight adjustments to some of them but I was happy with the homework that I had done. -The wind is out of the NE or thereabouts. It made the first nine very challenging. The only downwind shots were 2 tee, 4 tee and everything else felt into the wind. 2 was almost harder as it was down off the left and super hard to turn it over enough with that wind. It’s going to be way less windy during the tournament but it looks like it’ll be out of that NE most of the week. -Played the Par 3 contest with good friend Si Woo Kim. Actually played the first nine with him today as well. I had my gf caddie for me and we had an awesome time. Temperature and the scenery was perfect. Still looking for that elusive ace though. -I tee off 1139. Will get to the course around 930 to do some warm up and eat some food as well. I have a feeling the greens are going to be really firm and it’s going to play different than last yr. Last yr, there was a ton of rain that softened things up early but not this yr. It’ll be that much more important to hit my numbers.

Rory McIlroy commissioned this pencil drawing after last year's Masters Tournament. The artist (@KeeganHall) provided context on Reddit: • Spent 6+ months working on it • Estimates 600-800+ total hours • Worked on it 6-7 days each week • Uses a Pentel Graphgear mechanical pencil Hall says this piece was incredibly challenging because so much detail went into such a small area. For context, the original is smaller than 30x22, so each face in the crowd is essentially a quarter of the size of a fingernail. This is the second piece he has done for Rory.

@KVanValkenburg Colossians 3:23-24 "Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and the Master you are serving is Christ " Could be the answer some of your readers were questioning with your latest story.
