Last night, our Leaders Advisory Board gathered for an annual holiday dinner. This was our final meeting of the year, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the insight and leadership this group brings to our company and community. 🌟

@AmericanAir Hey there, our group of 9 is traveling tomorrow on flight AA3170, do you foresee it being affected by the telecommunication issues? We’re considering changing our flight to connect in Miami instead of Dallas. Any insight you can share would be helpful.

The FAA reported an issue involving the telecommunications provider for the air traffic control facility that oversees the airspace in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a result, the FAA has severely limited flights into both DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field, which is affecting our operation. As the FAA and its provider work to resolve the issue, American has issued a travel alert allowing customers whose travel plans are affected to rebook without change fees. MOVE YOUR BODY. Aim for at least 30 minutes every day. More is better. Walk. Run. Lift weights. Dance. Garden. If possible, do some of this outdoors. Whatever you do, don’t be a hero. Start small. Consistent effort compounds over time. Inertia is real—it works in both directions.

Toughness is about doing the hard thing because it’s the right thing. Sometimes this means putting your head down and grinding it out. Other times this means backing off and asking for help. Toughness lives on the inside. People who don’t act tough may be toughest of all.
