Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
The music was better. TV was better. The High Streets were better. Pubs were better. Our social lives were better. Our parks and playgrounds were better. Our seaside towns were better. Our roads were better. Our financial situation was better. People were better. Our towns and cities were better. Law and order was better. Our prospects were better. Our aspirations were better. And we didn't have the Internet, 455 TV channels, 'Call of Duty', online gambling and the opportunity to buy a cheap dress in China, from the comfort of our sofa. It's funny how things have turned out.

@DPJHodges Ah, the classic 'dog ate my homework' excuse, this time coming from the top of the UK government. It's astonishing they are getting away with it!

In this short film "Music That Changed Lives," acclaimed author, columnist and filmmaker Nelson George recounts the history and impact that Jimi Hendrix and the Band Of Gypsys had on the youth where he grew up in Brooklyn’s Brownsville ghetto at that time when rock was, in a way, somewhat foreign. #JimiHendrix #BandOfGypsys #Rock #Funk #Soul #Blues #NelsonGeorge

#KeirStarmer the Prime Minister of Great Britain is losing it, its clear for all to see, he can't provide an answer to a single question, we the British public shouldn't have to suffer anymore of his "leadership" we as a country can't afford to during these perilous times. #PMQs #Reform #NigelFarage

@benonwine This post is a very good reminder of similar past PMQs. Hoyle is a useless Speaker. He enables Starmer to show contempt to other MPs. .

In 2021, the Speaker told Boris Johnson TWICE to answer questions at PMQs that’s right TWICE! So the Speaker does step in and force the Prime Minister to answer questions it just depends if he wants too, how Strange 🤷‍♂️ Now we’re told “nothing can be done.” So which is it?

Sir Iain Duncan Smith put a vital question to Keir Starmer at PMQs on whether the IRGC should be banned, and demanded a clear answer. True to form, Starmer refused to give one on an issue that is both urgent and of real national importance. Brilliant from IDS though.

Jim commanded the stage with fearless unpredictability. “It starts off with a rhythm and you don’t know how it’s going to end up or how long it’s going to be or really what it’s about, until it’s over. That sort I enjoy best.” -Jim Morrison Photos by Michael Montfort.

That moment in The Godfather Part II says everything about who Michael Corleone has become. When Tom asks if he wants to wipe everyone out and Michael calmly replies “just my enemies,” it sounds controlled, almost reasonable. But that’s the illusion. By this point in the story, Michael has redefined what an enemy means, and that list keeps growing until it includes even his own family. What makes this line powerful is how quiet it is. No anger, no emotion, just certainty. It shows how far he has moved from his father’s idea of loyalty into something colder and more dangerous. In Michael’s world, power is not about rage, it is about control, and control often comes at the cost of everything that once made him human.

If it was a rare occurance people would probably push for investigations and action against the MP involved whenever something happens HOWEVER its every day something is leaked or someone is found out. We have the "breaking news", "public uproar", "confrontation" in Parliament, reports & interviews on msm & then overnight something else happens ....rinse & repeat 🤷‍♀️

I don't understand how we are supposed to function like this The Prime Minister constantly lies Wes Streeting lies. Steve Reed lies. This is not a functioning Government.

x.com/OneWayMusicX/s… Billions and billions of years after the Big Bang, in a small corner of the Milky Way Galaxy, four young explorers from Earth took to the stage and wove a sonic tapestry that echoes across the cosmos itself. Behold Led Zeppelin in 1970, performing “Dazed and Confused.” Jimmy Page draws a violin bow across his electric guitar strings as if conducting the very vibrations of the universe—haunting, hypnotic, infinite. The rhythm pulses like gravitational waves, Robert Plant’s voice soars through the void, and for those transcendent minutes we are no longer merely listeners… we are travelers among the stars. We are starstuff, my friends. And sometimes, that starstuff rocks
