This is an oversimplification, but a necessary one: there’s two ways to interpret tonight’s elxn results. 1) The Tim Houston PC Party brand is more popular than anyone predicted. 2) The PCs are more organized, motivated and better managed than the NDP or Liberals. #nspoli

Liberals lead NDP in popular vote. But NDP lead liberals in seat count by 5:1.

I lean towards the latter. The NSPCs are the most passionate, committed and mobilizable of the party bases here. I’ve moderated a handful of debates over the years and these people show up for in roaring numbers. Like they literally make the room roar. They show up for their guy.
