@RichardBowler5 A 1/5 shot has got an 83% chance of winning according to the odds. People might think it has got a 83% chance of winning and back it. Others might think it has a 50% chance of winning and so wont back it

@Peterhoyle8 Agreed I posted Earth shot on here when she was 11/10 because I thought she should be a money on shot. If there was an 8/1 chance in the same race who I thought should be shorter I'd rather have a £5 on that then £40 on Earth shot. That's all I was trying to say

@JMB_Racing Ive never backed ew. Again just my opinion but If I dont think a horse Will win. I wouldn't wanna pay for the win part of the bet. That's just how I see it. I know people like ew and thats fine

@MarkCooper553 Agree, but if the horse is 33/1, 12/1 or even 13/8. If after looking through the race and you feel they're very likely to win the race, back it. More appealing at the each way price as you have a slight fall back if the horse places, but still a bet at the end of the day.

@JMB_Racing No I wont back a 33/1 shot that I think should be a 66/1 shot. On the other hand someone else might think the same horse should be a 12/1 shot. We all see races differently

@olireid9 @MattSwad I'd back it, but id rather back a 8/1 horse in the same race that I think should be shorter. The original post was just trying to explain why I we dont just dont blindly back short things. The game is all about opinions I might look at a 5/1 horse and think it should be 5/4

@MattSwad I'd rather do that then back an evens shot which I think should be a bigger price. Your 5/4 on a fifty fifty is value. All im saying is that most 1/1 shots dont have a 50% chance of winning

@MarkCooper553 Ive trackered that horse for a long time, today was its day in that race off super low weight. another poor ride from jo mason, she had one job, make sure she got a clear uninterrupted ride, she cant do it.

We didn't have much luck with SIR BENIDICT. He travelled well ended up following tired horse couldn't get a clear run. Finished best of all. Hes on a nice mark and he will win a race or 2 this season. On another day he could have won this race unlucky

The group found a rec 5/1 winner well backed. A 2/1 boosted winner. Lilt rec at 5/1 non runner I'm sure she's a talent and would have won today. Sir Benidict an unlucky loser. Our 1000 gns pick ran well but lost her chance in the preliminaries. Last one got wrong drifted all day

CROCKHAM HEATH. It looked liked it had a good chance yesterday as the fav looked on a stiff opening mark on what hes achieved. The drift throughout the day told the story 7/2 to any price you want
