@CJPhillips1982 Put us through the ringer in the first half. Fair play to the team for turning it around early in the 2nd. Kendall’s pace was a constant threat to them and he took both his goals well. Good result for us today with Halifax losing so all in, a good day for us Shrimpers 🦐 ⚽️

@CJPhillips1982 Best performance for a long time. Played well as a team. Didn’t allow them time on the ball. Finally got the monkey off our back and beaten a top 6 team. Could, probably should’ve had more than the 2 we scored.Golding’s best performance since he’s been back. Hope not a bad injury

@CJPhillips1982 Boring writing the same thing every match. Intensity and drive isn’t there when we attack. Should be 2 up if Kendall sets up Austin. 2nd half = to Truro 1st half. Subs were baffling. Needed a goal, we take off our 2 top scorers. Weird! Change needed (mgt, formation, something)

@CoysJoji @NicaraguaVisit @CJPhillips1982 2nd half when Bridge moved to the left against Truro and 2nd v Boreham Wood (where as a sub he was MOTM) they linked up well. Fact is Mahers plan A means he picks one of them or Bridge plays infield. He doesn’t use plan b hardly ever which is why we haven’t seen Bridge much

@CJPhillips1982 Great comeback Blues. Fully worth the draw in the end and possibly the 3pts. Really was a game of 2 halves! We have to start more positively against all teams but especially those above us. It’s like we’re scared of them. Take the game to them. Thought Boyes was fantastic

I agree that Boyes has been very good this season and is our best recruit in the last 2 years. And I would pick him over Bridge. But there should be a world where these two can link up more than they do

@clarkliam04 The thing that pissed me off the most is Cav laying into Mason for the goal and pointing the blame on him. If 1 person on that was not at fault for the goal it was Mason. Defence and Midfield seperated quicker and wider than Bonnie Bkue's legs

@CJPhillips1982 We seem to sink to new lows a lot lately. That 1st half was possibly the worst I’ve seen in 40 years. Titanic would’ve fitted through the defence for their goal then Miley has a go at Mason. Tool. Slight improvement 2nd half but finishing was abysmal. We miss LCP

@CJPhillips1982 Beaten by a better team. Faster, fitter, hungrier players that moved the ball forward quickly. The complete opposite to how we play. Midfield was so overrun tonight. Best spell was 15mins after HT so why was the formation then changed again? Maher got bossed by Garrard

They created so many openings from moving the back quick. All their players were comfortable on the ball. Inc GK
