@ImpressionistAL His opinion held weight, like Nev, he has made a fortune getting more clicks talking shit, the same as Scholes and Butt. They need to be ambassadors like Sir Bobby, Fergie, Robson, Rio, Rooney, Hargrieves, Evra, Cole, Yorke, Schmiechel, Ollie & Giggs, NOT an embarrassment

Roy Keane will always be one of my footballing heroes, both for club and country. But boy is it disheartening to see him behave like this with Bruno Fernandes, I think it may be a watershed moment for the current players at the club in ignoring the noise from some of these legends. Bruno may not have the same no nonsense attitude that Keane had as captain of the club but his ideals are similar in wanting the very best for the club in getting it back to the very top. I find it hard to criticise Roy Keane, I always have but I think he has crossed a line here.

End of the season and last ever Football Focus today (I didn’t watch it). It’s sad however that programmes like this, Soccer Saturday on Sky, and Match of the day have become almost unwatchable for anyone who has been watching football for many years, because the presenters and pundits are largely 2nd rate, and there are so many on going agendas!
