@kevinki16180099 @TerryDaynard That's much lower price than I was quoted here locally on Tuesday, if you want to share suppliers name i would like to pickup a few truckloads to fill our storage for wheat.

If you multiply by ~1.35 to get these prices into $Cdn, that's ~$C1075 for urea. Ouch.

Just received tomorrow's dyed fuel pricing, it's going up another 12.6 cent /L from today. Up almost 21 cents from 15 days ago when we topped everything off when USA & Iran started negotiations. Hopefully it'll come back down for the season.

I shake my head hard as to why we don't have pipes coming to Ontario carrying 🇨🇦 oil & Nat Gas so it can be used domestically and shipped out the St Lawrence into Europe, would give western 🇨🇦 more options. If Que doesn't want pipelines, refine it in Ont.

@John__Alexiou You can go on the OMAFA Agrisuite site, there are average nutrient values to use or if you have an analysis you can input those and your fertilizer prices and it will calculate the nutrient value and the nutrient contributions over the next 1 or 2 yrs.

Looking for some input on how to value beef cattle manure… I’m looking at buying some from a neighbour and we are both unsure of what it’s worth

@islandviewag @KeithWells6 @Agridome I know old crop beans into Port of Picton was $25/mt more than Port of Johnstown & $5 Less than Hamilton, why i have no idea, I do know that I can see the Terminal in Picton from our farm, so freight should be less than either option. New crop is around $5 either direction.

@Shawridgefarm My son is hauling Road Salt out of Port of Oshawa, it's going mostly east & north. Says there's still quite a stack of it there & not overly busy. Claims there has been no line up's, 1/2 the time he arrives to load the loader operator is leaned back with feet on wheel snoozing.

You know your local county is out of salt when you follow a plow just skimming snow off 1 of the main cty roads but its a sheet of ice and no salt/sand is being put on. I know I know...its the rotten American companies ordered by bad Orange man to not sell us salt. Elbows up! 🤡

@AdamJPfeffer My son helped with harvest last summer in MB, they had Red class 9', Macdon was testing the new heads on that farm with an AF11. He said that thing harvested circles around the 9230,40 & 50 they wre running.

Slowly doing homework on a combine update. I have 0 experience running a Draper head but thinking a 35’ would suit my needs. What models should I be looking into and why? Seems like MacDon has a big chunk of the used market share.

@islandviewag @MaizeingPete Bit of a down slope from both direction & a slight curve as the HWY goes onto the bridge over the Napanee Crick. My guess is "lack of attention to road issues ahead, with a lot of bare feet up against the dash" inhibiting reaction times.
