Eclipse polling ends at 3p. My '25 ballot. Reminder: 1st place votes are sole determinant for winners. Pretty straightforward season dominated by Sovereignty and @godolphin w/ a few tough decisions, especially in @JumpingwithNSA. Notable years for @DJ_Stable, @spendthriftfarm.

@TaylorMadeSales @markecasse Congratulations to @markecasse and @casseracing for a phenomenal year. To eclipse $20,000,000 in purses before the Breeders Cup is an unworldly achievement.

@Tinky47flat Thank You Tinky, I did read your comment previously about slower paces and you were spot on. I put the video out today to show everyone she is on her game and ready to go. Hoping for an exciting Alabama. 🤞

La Cara Revisited
Thanks Mark. I'm glad to hear and see this.
However, I began my related post by pointing out that it is not uncommon for horses to move less comfortably in their slower paces, and this embedded video is of La Cara galloping, so apples and oranges.
Perhaps the video embedded in my previous post was anomalous, and her appearance was due solely to her cross-cantering, as a couple of commenters suggested. But this video sheds no light on the answer to those questions.
Good luck on Saturday!

I wanted to let everyone know that CORRUPTION is happy & healthy at the barn. I'd like to thank @theNYRA and their team for their quick action. I also can't say enough about the incredible family of horsemen who jumped in to help, including @MiguelMClement and his team, @jose93_ortiz, @iradortiz, @DavisJockey, @KendrickCarmou1, @jockeyfranco, and our amazing Team Casse crew.

Congratulations to Mark Casse on achieving 4,000 wins.. I could type a paragraph showing my appreciation for Mark, but I just want to say thank you from all of us for taking your time & allowing me to share my experience with Sandman. None of this is possible without your patience & love for the sport.

@DRFHersh @HorseToWatch Sorry Marcus…. But this time you are wrong!
English

@HorseToWatch Watch frame by frame from 14-18 seconds -- cannot see how that is described as "had that path." FP went off his path in a blocking motion. Thing is, if he had just held his path, J gets stopped cold by fading Clever Again, has to check and come around. Who knows what happens
English

If you ask me, what Prat did here was totally legal. He had that path, and he held his ground. The fact that Rispoli, and more shockingly Journalism, continued on that collision course is the remarkable part.

What bravery from Journalism and Umberto Rispoli to make the winning moves at #Preakness150. 👏

@lmgriffjohnson @PimlicoRC Looks like he was playing with the pepper!
