This is a really interesting concept. If sport is to truly move to an athlete-centred approach; co-creation and partnerships are what help us learn and foster metacognitive proficiency.

What an interesting one. I think this highlights how players can sometimes take a brave leap and deviate from the norm. Fair play! I do wonder whether this also sheds light on the sustainability of trying to make a career at a lower-level? Either way, all the best mate!

@PeteOlusoga I think you can apply to the HCPC for practitioner psych status. I know someone who trained in a different country, then built up tons of experience in the UK did this and they went on no formal psychology training. I know that’s still effort but surely there’s a way around it!

Regardless of performance from staff or players they shouldn’t be getting abused, simple as. If you’re the one who has abused them or are saying ‘it comes with the territory’, then I bet you call Widnes a shit hole but throw your litter on the floor at the same time 😂🤷‍♂️
