I’ve seen so much panic across social media over the last 24 hours and it’s not coming from Celtic fans.
You’ve got Rangers fans claiming they’re “not worried” about the fixtures falling in Celtic’s favour not worried about the Green Brigade being back not worried about the shift in momentum.
Let’s be honest for a second because sometimes that’s the best policy. There’s a difference between backing your team and outright lying to yourself to look confident online. It’s transparent. It’s embarrassing.
Rangers fans know it. Hearts fans know it.
Yesterday’s fixture announcement? Massive for Celtic. The Green Brigade returning? Even bigger.
Because whether people like it or not, they do make a difference. The atmosphere lifts, Celtic Park becomes a different place, and that energy feeds directly onto the pitch.

“Celtic have been given a home match on the final day of the season, partly because they have three home matches post-split and Hearts and Rangers only have two.
In recent seasons we have been able to have the club at the top of the table entering into the split at home on the final day.
However, that has not been possible on this occasion due to the number of competing constraints and the most exciting title race in years making each fixture round very unpredictable”

Out of all seasons with a tight title race there has been 4 from memory where the team top played away on the last game
2004/05 celtic were top at the split and lost away to Motherwell last game
2007/08 Rangers were top going into the split and lost away to aberdeen on the last game
2008/09 Rangers were top and played Dundee utd away last game
2010/11 rangers were top and won the league away to Killie on the last day
So no Ewen does not have a point
