That didn’t happen by accident. • He oversaw the best transfer window in 10 years signing Lammens, Cunha, Dorgu, Mbeumo and Sesko. • Before Amorim, teams played us off the park we couldn’t even keep the ball for 30 seconds, and player power was completely out of control. • Several players have already spoken about how Amorim transformed the team and the way we played except, of course, those who prefer to stay silent. • The discipline he brought, the way he cut out player power, and the number of de@dwood players he moved on he could’ve done even more. • I doubt Michael Carrick would’ve had the courage to bench or even sell Rashford or Garnacho if he were in charge. We all know what he would’ve said instead. • United had a long injury list and still stayed in the top 10. How many big teams survive when almost their entire squad is out? Name one. • Unfortunately, some people were too impatient or too stubborn (or both) to see the bigger picture. • Give Carrick his credit, but don’t erase the architect.
