@tangerinemonko Ehh. I would’ve disliked this. I didn’t really like the whole lineage plot cuz I feel like this story was supposed to be about a bunch of ragtag individuals striving for their dreams and freedom. More nepotism would kill that for me. Her parallel w/ belle already defines her imo.

@tangerinemonko I don’t think lore would improve her character much, it’s character development. Like I would kill to see Nami lock in like Uravity from MHA. That would truly set her apart from every woman in One Piece by a large margin.

@MarkIsDaGoat I do hope she gets lore and we see a SATISFYING peak of her relationship with Luffy, cause imo they still haven’t had that moment. The Help Me scene is sweet but so much has happened. Even Zoro got it in a way during Elbaf now where Luffy out of his mouth praises him.

@tangerinemonko That’s a decent theory, but I don’t see what he achieves by doing this. I don’t want another Rayleigh and Shakky, damsel in distress situation to be the final plot for Nami. It would totally ruin her character imo, just like how it ruined shakky’s. Even Robin too, it would be ass

@MarkIsDaGoat I say Nami cause if she’s able to control weather, and considering how Imu is moving. Him taking Nami trying to bait “Nika” in his eyes makes a lot of sense.

@binks_legoman @khalidxvi He would give us more insight on Ace, and his dream is to leave Wano and travel the world, so it would be fun to see how she handles being in elbaf with Luffy. He also has a really energetic personality, so it would be fun to see how the rest of the crew interacts with her too.

Also Usopp's bravery has been on display a lot of times, as far as his dream is going, his is the most realistic given how much he's accomplished already. What would Yamato contribute to the crew besides strength?

@tychchen The crazy thing is that Nami can actually cook, and she did for the straw hats until Sanji came around. Although, saying that Nami is a corrupt wife is not ridiculous to say.

@binks_legoman @khalidxvi Yeah, but I would love to see Usopp accomplish his dreams of becoming a brave warrior of the sea—like he’s always wanted. Seeing them run around for 15+ years can get pretty boring for the reader. I feel like Yamato would be a much better addition than fucking Lilith at least.

@MarkIsDaGoat @khalidxvi They've all had their moments to shine. The only people who are actually weak are Nami and Usopp and that's their whole point. They all pull their own weight and contribute to the fights to some degree.

@nalpe134801 @zkimdracula I honestly like it because the MC is relatable. Story wise OP is better, but I’m driven towards invincible more. However, by the end of elbaf that will most likely change. It’s honestly the best arc we’ve gotten in years, and I’ve enjoyed reading it a lot so far.

@binks_legoman @khalidxvi Mb for wanting to see a yonko crew, actually fight like a yonko crew. It’s just the monster trio show now, you might as well add an another strong fighter to break that dynamic, and make fights with the straw hats more interesting to watch.
