Meet Mark James, @markjamesworks, an independent multi-disciplinary artist and art director with a long-standing connection to Japan. His creativity has been drawn from Japan since his first visit in 1998. His first solo exhibition there, Culture Clash, was a sell-out in 2022, and he returned in 2025 to curate Keltronika at Tokyo’s Wall&Wall Aoyama as part of the Wales and Japan Culture Fund.
