How does @AvantiWestCoast have any customers? Train to Manchester yesterday ... two coaches short, all seats de-reserved, every carriage packed with standing passengers, aircon dripping from ceiling in two carriages, no running water. Return to London today ... train 27 minutes late, three coaches aircon broken, no hot water for drinks. Also: several toilets out of service and intermittent WiFi, but that's expected. Miserable journey.

@thejackhopkins As a Brit, what I find most astonishing is that Supreme Court justices are political, very publicly, so you have "liberal" or "conservative" justices and they always seem to vote along those lines. Surely justice must be independent of political opinion?
