@TavernFootball With Argyle, April 88, stupidly took the lead which roused the locals a bit, ended up losing 3-2, probably just as well. They were a bloody good side then, Sheringham and Cascarino up top, plus Terry Hurlock running round kicking everyone. Pretty sure they went up as champions.

@ArgyleMemes @mancity_talk This was due to the individuals having limited interest, cost of tickets & poor travel regarding trains out of the county. I was a Man Utd fan & getting tickets was expensive, as were train tickets & the trains themselves would take forever & go absolutely everywhere.

Emphasis on the ‘little’. Your away attendances in the league are abysmal, yet you take a lot to City on your big day out. Says it all.
Even then, the away atmosphere yesterday was shambolic. Drab off the pitch and even worse on it.
Give me @Argyle any day of the week, at least they made some noise and actually gave us a more competitive game.

I’ve watched Man City many times this season on TV including Wednesday’s home league match against Brighton, empty seats and NO atmosphere. Known facts!!

🚨 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪: Celta Vigo player Carl Starfelt was sidelined for about 2 months due to persistent sickness that doctors struggled to pinpoint. The club launched investigations into his condition, looking for an answer. Severe mold was discovered in his house. The environment was reportedly making him seriously ill. Once the source was identified, Starfelt immediately moved out. After recovering his health, he has now returned to the pitches.
