I took this photo a few weeks ago in a field somewhere near Ballinger. Seeing this semi-trailer brought back such memories! I rode my first horse at Gibsons ... cost a nickel. Do any of y'all remember the words to their advertising jingle? I do. My understanding is that there are still a few of them around. I think I saw one in Kerrville recently.

@Super70sSports That’s Lisa Marie Presley’s childhood swing set at Graceland. Looks just like the one I grew up with in the early 70’s.

It wasn’t an authentic 70s swing set if one leg wasn’t popping out of the ground in a concerning fashion once somebody really got going on that motherfucker.

My first concert was Paula Abdul and Color Me Badd. 😂 We didn’t have a lot of money and my mom said we couldn’t afford it. The day before the show she overheard a lawyer in her office saying he had tickets but couldn’t go. She followed him to his office and asked about the tickets. He was thrilled to give them to us. We were 6th row center. I remember Paula pranking the guys by dumping ping pong balls on them during their opening set. Great childhood memory. What was your first concert?
