Source tells me the umpires will operate the pitch clocks with a remote. Big relief, pitch clock can't be operated by a volunteer with a team, with all due respect. Too important of a role.

If all teams get equipment for pitch clocks mid-season, will this be revisited? We shall see, but I can't see a major rule change being implemented mid-season, has to be all-in or test and wait until 2027.

QUICK CBL HIT: Being told ABS is NOT coming to @CBL1919, despite some rumours out there. As well, there is some chatter about pitch clocks for 2026, but told if not all nine teams have it set up in time, pitch clocks will not be utilized. @CBLChangeUp

Guelph may still not know its first round opponent beyond tonight. Flint is behind Windsor by 2 PTS and both have 40 ROW (1st tiebreak) with 1 game left. If FLT wins tonight, it'll come down to WSR's game Sunday at SSM. WSR holds 2nd tiebreaker over FLT (goal differential).
