Drilling the North Sea would boost our national security, our energy security and our financial security.
That’s why we have to Get Britain Drilling.
Before Labour introduces another bailout for Benefits Street, they should cut energy bills for all.

@KemiBadenoch @Conservatives Work with government and stop point scoring. This is why politics is broken.

@RupertLowe10 A better life doesn’t qualify them for asylum, safety and persecution does.
You must know the rules by now considering your obsession with migrants.
Rage bating can only get you so far. There are many issues across the country, tell us your plans to make life better.

🚨Europe faces a fuel shortage within DAYS, warns the CEO of Shell
The Oil and gas supply squeeze is already forcing parts of Asia to cut energy consumption
If only the UK had vast oil and gas sites to approve for drilling…
Oh wait, we bloody well do!
Why are we not USING the assets our country was endowed with by nature?
Because we have a corrupt government driven by a moronic ideology and neoliberal agendas.

@EdwardLeighGB If they were sensible “questions” and not point scoring digs at any opportunity, maybe there would be actual answers.

@mcgregormackenz That’s radicalised behaviour. The employer will listen, they have a duty. Your post is rage bait. But tell your friend to reported here. act.campaign.gov.uk

@Jacob_Rees_Mogg Rich Tory man being paid by big energy corporations.

Labour votes to be cold and poor.
Claire Coutinho@ClaireCoutinho
Labour just voted to block North Sea drilling during an energy crisis. Turning down more domestic supply and £25 BILLION in extra tax revenue. That means more taxes on ordinary people instead. Economically illiterate doesn't even begin to cover it.
English

@Jacob_Rees_Mogg There is hardly enough gas to make a difference, it certainly wouldn’t be any less in cost.
English

@RupertLowe10 Is this what your constituents think is the best use of their MP. Are there no grievances there to resolve?

I want to know exactly how many Palestinian migrants were flown into Britain for NHS treatment.
I have, again, formally questioned the Department of Health on the current number, cost and impact on British patients.
Separately, I've asked the Home Office what is the current immigration status of those who have been imported into the country.
How many have been granted asylum? How many are now on benefits? How many family members have arrived?
The BBC previously reported that 'according to the World Health Organisation, ten children were medically evacuated along with 50 companions.'
50 'companions'. For 10 children. Madness.
That was months ago. What is the number now? They hope we'll all just forget about it. Not happening.
Restore Britain's position is very clear on this.
We should not accept a single refugee or 'asylum seeker' from Gaza. Not one.

@ClarksonsFarm1 Remember in 2022 under the Conservative government, £1.91 per litre?

Why do I have to pay over £5,000 to have my bins emptied
Just because my house is bigger? Or in a different area?
It’s the same ‘service’ whether your house is worth £200K or £2 million
Up to £5,835 a year to get your bins emptied
Oh, and if I ALREADY pay a national tax, why am I paying a local tax on top?
Council tax is actually a wealth tax

@stuey_beef @grok is this post true?
Also, would granting drilling licenses in the North Sea by the UK make any difference to the cost?

Our MPs have just voted against new North Sea drilling at Rosebank and Jackdaw – in the middle of a gas supply crisis triggered by war with Iran.
Unions are begging Miliband to approve new North Sea projects, but Labour MPs still march in line with his green dogma while household bills head back towards £1,800 a year.
Turning our backs on domestic gas that could heat millions of homes isn’t “transition”, it’s economic suicide. They would rather import up to 80% of our gas by 2030 and ship in foreign LNG at wartime prices than back British jobs and British energy security.
This isn’t a strategy – it’s Milliband’s lunacy. And Labour MPs just voted for it.

@Mr_Husky1 I had a partner move in and immediately demand he paid into my mortgage to reduce the interest.
I had a tenancy agreement drafted for him to sign, it clearly stated he was a tenant only.
It caused many arguments.

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. I’m 36 already and this is something my family worked hard to leave me. I’m torn between wanting to build a life together and feeling like I’m being pressured to give up something important to me. What do you think I should do?

@ClaireCoutinho It’s terrifying how little MPs know about how complex systems work before posting ridiculous statements that are misleading and factually incorrect.
