@MarkNJohnson I mean it in terms of me never tweeting about it outside of major tournaments rather than the sport itself. I couldn’t tell you a single club that any of the England women’s side play for, it would feel disingenuous to suddenly start tweeting loads about them.

I am not particularly interested in women’s football. I’ve watched bits of it this summer but not been glued to it. I watched last night but I don’t feel as though bandwagon jumping once we win something is the right thing to do. There are loads of people who care deeply about women’s football and watch way more of it than me; if I were to start tweeting about it once England reach the semis or the final, I’d be called opportunistic or told I was doing it for interactions once success came along.
