#DYK the Irish flag was made by French women, sympathetic to the Irish cause! It was meant to symbolise peace between Irish Catholic Nationalists & Protestant Unionists. They presented it to Thomas Francis Meagher in 1848. Happy #BastilleDay! Liberté, égalité, fraternité ! 🇫🇷🇮🇪

Bruff Rugby are celebrating their 50th anniversary this season.
The club's affiliation to the Munster Branch was ratified on this day 50 years ago, 14th May 1970.
What a successful and enduring half a century.

Folks this is really important for the club finances in the current situation. It's the only way we will be able in the lockdown to keep the much needed funds to keep the show on the road. And a chance to win a few quid.
As they say, " if you're not in......"
