Died with their boots on tonight. There will always be moments to look back on but thought overall we turned up and played well, particularly in that first half. Dara O’Shea MOTM tonight. The who would you sign Viktor Gyokeres or Hugo Ekitike debate is utterly hilarious. At Ekitike age, 23, Gyokeres was struggling in the Championship with Coventry. Gyokeres has already failed in the Premier League. He is 27 now and at his peak having never had a decent season in a major European League. He basically looks like a slightly better version of Hojlund. I'd have been absolutely gutted if we had signed him 😂

I think Nunez has the potential to be a big success elsewhere. I think lot of things have gone against him at Liverpool. He has hit the post a mad amount of times. Coming in and out of the side even he is performing. And the main problem he has, he has become a lighting rod for anything which goes wrong when he plays. He is the scapegoat and a good lad for engagement farming. This has clearly effected his confidence as he is clearly aware of what is said on social media. So the final outcome... By spending 12 months rubbishing him the mob have likely effected how much we will get for him. He will leave but for a much smaller fee than expected. He will be a success at his next club. Liverpool will buy a striker who is unlikely to be a big upgrade looking at the striking options. And he will become the next scapegoat for the engagement farmers use for interactions.
