A BIG take away from the discovery of these eps is that I will NEVER sleep on Katarina as a companion again! Interesting backstory, she defies the Doctor to save Steven’s life and she makes the ultimate sacrifice. ICONIC companion material! Flowers for Katarina!! 🌼💐💙💙

Finished Doom Coalition 2 & 3 Faves - Absent Friends and Ship In A Bottle - both more simple and contained stories. Bores - The Eighth Piece and Stop The Clock - all the overly complicated Gallifrey babble. Overall really enjoyed it - now on to Ravenous...

Went on a McGann marathon this weekend and listened to Doom Coalition 1 & 2. Faves: The Red Lady & Beachhead Bores: The Satanic Mill & The Sonomancer Still really enjoyable. Maybe these should have been 3 per set to focus the story more. Plus River Song not needed.

My favorite thing about Dr Who fandom is when someone tries to convince a normal person that Genesis of the Daleks or Caves of Androzani is proper drama. Like someone is going to list their favourite TV as Breaking Bad, Severance and City of Death.

The Wally K. Daly episodes of Byker Grove are really good.
