@BeatemupsWood But the Switch could run BOTW etc, surely they could have optimised the code some other way? I wonder if any 2026 pokemon games will be the same or if they will take advantage of the Switch 2 having more power to actually have textured walls 🤔

Oh my god. They actually did do exactly what I said. They designed it, took a picture of it, and then slapped that JPEG picture onto the buildings instead. Beautiful work GameFreak.
