The algorithm on this cesspit is inextricably amateurish for someone who is supposedly the saviour of mankind. Why when I have already commented on a topic would I then want to see hundreds more posts about the same topic. I've had my say, now I want to move on.

@EvacTony @TRobinsonNewEra x.com/i/status/20767… Given according to right-wing social mefia commentators the murderer was researching Russia propaganda and the far-right are travelling to Russia, are pro Putin and also pro Russia it may be that the far-right are in fact the same as the far-left.

BREAKING RIGHT NOW: Ann Widdecombe assassination suspect is believed to have been caught researching Russian communist literature. I can also reveal Ann's WhatsApp was last active at 9.21pm on Wednesday, suggesting the killer took over her phone or that she was held hostage...

Left, @TRobinsonNewEra the bogeyman they're desperate for you to believe in..... Right, the actual bogeyman. Authorities have been pointing towards danger in the wrong direction for years, the real problem in Britain is not the "Far Right" its quite the opposite.

@SimonFoxWriter Because idiots like you share cctv footage of the suspect meaning any positive IDs from witness ID parades could be deemed inadmissible at court, let's hope there is forensic evidence, including from digital devices.

In order to convict the Rotherham man, they will need forensic evidence. I wonder if they have any whatsoever. We'll find out.

@jomickane They would have known how many people live at the address, they would have known if the person potentially had firearms. They also know the search of the address would be carried out by a separate team. Drugs raids are very different. More unknowns more people needed.

When police and counter terrorism police raided Anns murderer & arrested him they had no idea what they would be faced with. Compare the amount of officers to other raids for things like drug offences. Does it look like they were going into a house to arrest a man that had just murdered an elderly lady 🤔. @danwootton

@danwootton You read the awful comments on this thread that have been fed by Dan and his desire to be the centre of attention and you have to come to the conclusion that out of a very bad bunch of social media commentators, he is up there with the worst.

Surely police ought to just stay quiet until they know something isn’t pre meditated or terrorism? A 4hr drive is pretty intentional. Why are our police making such huge mistakes presently? Worrying. See Lord David Blunkitt report too! 😔

@benonwine Where is the lie in the police statement from yesterday. "At this point there is still no information to suggest this is a terrorism related incident". "We remain open minded about a potential motive".

One question that should be answered is WHY the police lied the public. That says more about this case than anything else.

Devon police said there was “nothing to suggest” political motivation in Ann Widdecombe's murder. Now the home secretary has asked terror police to lead the investigation.
Shabana Mahmood MP@ShabanaMahmood

This morning I have spoken to the head of @TerrorismPolice. Following new information and evidence, they are now leading on the investigation into the horrific murder of Ann Widdecombe. The police are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry to establish the motivation for this attack. I will be updating the House further this afternoon. My thoughts today remain with Ann’s family and friends, and all those who loved her.

@InspGadgetBlogs If you are referring to the press conference yesterday, the senior officer said, "At this point there is still no information to suggest this is a terrorism related incident". "We remain open minded about a potential motive".

Looks like Farage etc are basically vindicated. I couldn't believe it when D&C said no evidence of terrorism. They should have kept their mouths shut. Horrendous for trust in police. I barely trust senior officers myself anymore. Of course, rank & file will face the consequences.

@boomdagod373 @AllisonPearson The police didn't try to frame him. The killer and his family tried to frame Henry as a racist and the aggressor, which can be clearly seen in the footage from the police.

@MarkRenton808 @AllisonPearson Yes and what she says is true because they treated him like he was guilty because he was white and even tried to frame him as the aggressor and a racist. The police race action plan also agrees with what she says 🤷‍♂️

As many predicted, the mental health/learning difficulties narrative is already starting. If this man is ultimately convicted of murdering Ann Widdecombe, investigators will have to explain how someone allegedly travelled 200+ miles, located her home, gained entry without alarming her, allegedly killed her, and then drove 200+ miles back. And out of everyone in Britain, he allegedly ended up at the home of a former MP and Reform UK's immigration and justice spokesperson. If that's what happened, it doesn't sound like something that happened on a whim. It raises obvious questions about planning and motive, and those questions deserve proper answers.

A neighbour said one of his brothers is believed to live in Devon and that his father’s death before Christmas may have affected him. Another local believes he had learning difficulties  "He rarely comes out of the house, his dad used to do everything for him and I don’t know what he did for a living. I think once his dad died he went a bit loopy"  Story: telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/07/1…

The man arrested on suspicion of murdering Ann Widdecombe reportedly travelled nearly 300 miles from Rotherham to her remote Dartmoor home, allegedly carrying a wooden stick in his car. Neighbours also claimed he had learning difficulties and rarely left the house. In the image below, police can be seen outside the property in Rotherham that the suspect is believed to have been living in. If these reports are accurate, investigators will have serious questions to answer about motive, planning and what led to this tragic case.
