Micheal says he’s been focusing on issues like disability, I wonder how much thought was given to people with disabilities when the govt decided to try do away with blister packs for meds, or maybe he has been planning to announce a cost of living package for people living with disabilities. Maybe he was working on how to do away with the means test for disability support payments? Or filling all those vacant therapist posts? I’d love him to explain what exactly he has been ‘focused on’ and what tangible progress was made from him focusing on it. Honestly, I’d love to see #GE2026

I recently asked the Minister why Harvey Sheratt Morrison was removed from the waiting list for scoliosis surgery. It’s over 5 months since Harvey died and his parents still do not answers, this is simply not good enough #justiceforharvey

This day last year was filled with joy and hope for the future. We were celebrating Remy’s birthday a couple days early because Harvey was finally going in to have his surgery for his scoliosis. We were so looking forward to the next chapter for him and for us as a family. He never should have had to wait like he did. He never should have had to spend a third of his life waiting for ‘urgent’ surgery. No child should ever be left in pain to deteriorate and expected to just accept it. These children’s biggest concern should be making Santa’s nice list, not their status on a surgery list. #JusticeForHarvey #NoChildWaiting
