Akira (1988)

Actor Sterling Hayden, was born on this day March 26, 1916. Tobe Hooper cast Hayden in his unrealized film 'Venom'. Hooper was replaced as director after only a couple of weeks of filming and the film was eventually released in 1981, with Piers Haggard credited as director.
