A really enjoyable day yesterday watching the @AIGWomensOpen with @Mark__Pike at @waltonheath_gc The course looked absolutely flawless! 💜⛳️ Hats off to the green keeping team! 👏🏼

20mm of rainfall recorded overnight, taking us to 95mm for July so far. Looking back, this time last year, we'd recorded 1.5mm for the month. Total rain to date last year was 194mm compared to this year's 409mm, only 62.5mm required to match 2022's yearly total @PurdisHeathGolf

An early start for today's Seniors Invitation meant an early finish. So, a round at a courserse I've never played before, @StClementsGC with some of the @IgcGreenkeepers . A lovely course in great condition, both agronomically & playability! Great work from Graham and his team.

Heatwave has made things difficult @PurdisHeathGolf With no rainfall all month Heather suffering badly with severe losses. Some areas will need regenerating. Work in our shady polytunnel this week potting fescue and Heather plugs for planting out later in year @Ecology1BIGGA
